A dreamlike beautiful place with such lovely people. You dive into another decelerated world. The dive site is also recommended. And the food, so delicious! I will definitely come back and hope Hassan will last a long time.🥰

This is the most beautifull place in Egypt, the most natural and oriental.
and to everyone:
ITS NOT A HOTEL - that's a camp in the nature and i am happy thet place like that exist seeing all those hotels in other cities close by.
this place is only for people who are nature lovers, who dont like to spend their vacations in crowded hotels with swimming pools. for people who enjoy simplisity of life ,who can see beauty in simple things.
great place for those who wants to feel how is to live in the nature, but no worries you won't have to hunt :) the restaurant is there and its really good, last time i was there chef Tiger carred about every detail, what was even to much for me in this simple place.
and no worries there are toilets and showers- which work everyday.
2 small houses have thier own bathroom and rest of the rocky houses dont- few steps and you can find bathrooms, for men and woman. i was expecting they will be dirty because it's on the desert but they were really clean and smelled better then some toilets in hurghada's restaurants.. well -happens
electricity is on from the sunset till midnight what in my opinion is great for envoirment and relax from the rushing civilisation- so you can admire sky full of stars what you cant do in cities close by.
place to make fire, or sleeping on the beach in small houses made from palm tree leafes , all is just so simple and so perfect as nature made it.
staff is really friendly asking each time if you need tea or coffee, never bodder you to much ,respect your time for relax.
Hassan who created this place made really good thing , and i am happy he did it and continues , because i will come there many time to rest from civilisated race for money.
i wish this camp will show people that simple life its not only easier but also more enjoiable !
so see you in the camp !

We stayed here, full board with 2 teenagers. the diving was fantastic and one of children took a qualification with the dive staff who were excellent. It was a great place to learn or refresh diving skills especially if you have had at least a taster in a pool first. Lunch was generally at the beach restaurant and was sometimes fresh fish or seafood which was delicious .In the evenings we ate in a room full of character and chilled in a hut with rugs and bard games.
We had a camp fire on the last night. We only had electricity in the evening but this is a camp and that was part of the charm. We stayed in the stone buildings at the top of the hill which were clean and simple and had beautiful curved ceilings. The staff were helpful and the transfer arranged for us was good value.

Serious safety incident
I had a very negative experience in this place. The owner Hassan constantly wanted to interact, he would always join for meals, making it hard to even read a book or focus on anything other than him. He kept offering to provide treatments and massages for free, claiming he had advanced training in this. When rejected he would try to make us feel inadequate and said things like "you are close minded". When discussing it with my female friends who also went there, we realized he had done this with several of us, and tried to touch us inapropriately in said "treatments". I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this place.

I feel bad naming someone by name but Hassan was rude, invasive and for lack of better word predatory. I had a great time in qusier but I cannot advise strongly enough not to go there. Perhaps if that man isn't there it would be quite ok.

We were there for few days. Had a bungalow, but mainly slept on the beach.
- no hot water
- leaking sink etc.
- rubblish in the camp
- were promised grilled fish, fishing, got nothing
- food terrible, mainly bread with pasta
- all clients that were at the camp just for lunch got great food, we were getting what left
- fish for four wouldnt be enough for one person (fried)
- asked before if possible to pay by card - yes, when I wanted to pay - owner was surprised that I want to pay by card
- nice beach, quiet, fire in the evening

You should ignore the previous review, as the person mentioned there no longer works full-time in the camp.
Our accommodation was Egyptian hotel standard. It was better than expected as we were given the best room they have, one of the two with an ensuite. Most of the rooms are wooden huts with stone beds and a shared toilet block. The huts looked in need of some sprucing up, this may have been because of recent heavy rain.
The camp was initially very very dirty. There was no water to flush the toilets in the gents loo of a shared toilet block in a full camp, and there was rubbish left lying around the camp. The tablecloths were encrusted with old food. Food portions were small, often cold, sometimes inedible. On the second morning we were served with bread that had bite marks in.
We had thought about leaving. When we complained the standard went right up, but unfortunately only briefly. We met Tiger, the person mentioned in the previous review. On his one appearance in the camp he cooked one great meal and made sure the tablecloths got a wash and the toilets had water, but then he left again and the standard slipped back. It was never as bad as before but food was still small, usually cold, and of wildly variable quality depending on who cooked. One day delicious lentil soup, then the next day a bowl of just lentils. The staff and the owner were good at making promises – we will make this food, we will wash this, we will fix this – but unfortunately not at all good at following these up.
It is difficult to enjoy a holiday when some of the camp staff were so clearly resentful of guests. I was getting concerned that I was being paranoid about this, when one other guest remarked “I think the staff here really hate us”. I visit Egypt regularly, and I’ve never experienced this before.
Just before the end of the holiday, my husband’s pair of thermal dive leggings mysteriously disappeared from the dive centre. They were hanging up to dry in the morning when we went for breakfast, but were gone by the time we had finished. We were told that dogs had taken them.
There was one positive. Diving in this area is great – the reefs are exceptionally beautiful, and our dive guide Youssef was very helpful. I don’t know what we would have done without him and Mohammed at the dive centre – they stopped every morning and bought food for us at street cafes, so that we could get something decent to eat at some point during the day.
What was so frustrating was that this was really a waste. From the previous review, the camp does seem to have been well managed in the past. The camp itself could easily be good, it just needs a really thorough cleaning, decent cooking, and staff who have some interest in helping their guests. Our experience of it wasn’t very pleasant. To be honest, it seems to me that the camp is in dire need of new management. I hope it gets it before it goes bust.
I won’t be going back. There are lots of other camps in this area.

it's a beautiful piece of land for those who are seeking nature's beauty & simplicity ,
people who works there including the camp's owner would do every thing possible to make you happy & relaxed & welcomed :)
snorkeling was nice all the time .
huts are right by the beach which is very unusual for that part of the Red Sea
if you plan a trip with to basics approach , i'd strongly recommend it.

We met Hasan and his crew when staying in the area
What a great spot and what a gem his beach hangout is! We snorkelled and enjoyed great cooking ranging from fresh fish to burgers and fries. The coral reefs are something else altogether. The minute you submerge you are on another planet with beautiful multicoloured fish everywhere and similar amazing corrals
Both he and his staff are something else when it comes to looking after you and making you feel at home
The bathrooms are very clean too which is not often what you find in Egypt
As Hasan speaks at least 4 languages you can pretty much ask and he will serve. Sadly no Dutch yet, but I am sure he is working on it
Very much recommend this spot and host
