We stayed at the 1796 Farmhouse while in town to participate in The Ride for Mental Health, a charity cycling event. Bev and Sal are wonderful humans who are so very welcoming. They had freshly made cookies, eggs from their chickens, organic bread and every little touch to make us feel at home. The house is filled with character and the grounds allow much relaxation. We contracted with Sal ahead of time to make dinner for us on Saturday evening which was the best decision ever! He even made sure he had a fire going outside afterwards for us to relax. We would most definitely stay here again! We loved our time at the Farmhouse and look forward to visiting again!
My husband, our dog and I stayed at The Inn at the Ridge for 3 nights this past week. We found it on the internet while searching for dog friendly accommodations near New Paltz. It exceeded our expectations! The hospitality and the ambiance were both outstanding. Sal and Bev were more than welcoming, treating us like friends and they met all of our needs. Bev kept reminding us that it was “our house” for the duration of our stay. Since it was mid week, Sal didn’t cook for us, however the refrigerator was well stocked for breakfast and there were chocolate chip cookies for snacks as well. The basic items were added to and replenished throughout our stay. We spent most of our time exploring the area but we also spent time on their grounds just enjoying the outstanding view. Sal and Bev prepared a fire for us one evening. It was lovely. I would highly recommend visiting The Inn at the Ridge. We can’t wait to return. …
We just had another wonderful experience at Inn At The Ridge with Bev & Sal. Sal treated us to chocolate cover strawberries and a bountiful breakfast. Our furry child was welcomed with open arms and received her official" Inn At The Ridge" bandana. We also received complimentary hiking passes to the nearby state park. Bev and Sal are gracious hosts. I highly recommend. Thanks for everything, Bev and Sal!
Found this gem a few years ago and absolutely love it. Bev and Sal have created a warm and inviting Inn. They have thought of everything to make your escape both relaxing and memorable. We always feel right a home and a little spoiled whenever we stay here. Sal's chef made, hearty breakfast is incredible. It gives you the energy to go hiking or biking at the nearby trails. There are wineries in the area and the scenery is just beautiful. We can't wait to return.
We wanted to get out of the city for a weekend away. Perfect weekend. Bev and Sal welcomed us and our pride and joy, Beasley. Sal is also a fantastic chef, delicious breakfast. Nice place to social distance. One night sat around the bonfire with several other guests, just enjoying each others company. Can’t wait to come back again to enjoy their hospitality.
Celebrated a birthday and anniversary at Inn At The Ridge July 17-20- our second time at the Inn. Bev and Sal are wonderful hosts with a wealth of knowledge of the area and a superb breakfast that provides energy for a day filled with hiking in the nearby Shawangunk Mountains. The rooms and house are so comfortable and the grounds are beautiful with gorgeous views. Rooms are on the second floor. The Hudson Valley room was very comfortable and has windows facing east and south on the road side of the house. Road noise did not bother us and the rooms are all air-conditioned. The West Point room also faces east. The Drawing room has a king sized bed (others have queen beds) and faces west. These three all have small ensuite bathrooms. Lavender room faces west and south with bathroom on first floor. All are thoughtfully and uniquely decorated and dog friendly.…
I stayed here with my friend Nikki and we had a great time! The Inn is beautiful and so comfortable. The view is amazing and you can enjoy a Lotus Pond and an awesome fire pit. Breakfast is amazing and Bev and Sal are just the best. To the dogs, Buddy, Mindy and Mr Chuck, I loved hanging with you. Dogs are welcome, which is another aspect that makes this Inn the best! 💪💕
Just loved this B&B. Sal and Beverly were wonderful hosts and their cozy B&B was very comfortable. Their breakfasts were feasts and so delicious none of us were hungry again until dinner. Totally recommend!
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Inn at the Ridge. The Inn was quaint, comfy and cozy, filled with interesting history. We enjoyed lounging in the picturesque garden with a book. And breakfast was a foodie’s delight that we’ll not soon forget. Thank you so much to Bev and Sal for making us feel completely at home! Their wonderful stories of the past and present really enriched our visit. A+ for hospitality!
We took a trip last week to New York state, and very much enjoyed our night at the Inn at the Ridge. Sal and Beverly were excellent hosts, and we had such a nice time talking with them about their crops and making great food, while sitting outside on a lovely evening watching the fireflies. Our room was very comfortable, and we felt right at home in a place with so much character and charm. Thank you very much!
