The Wainscott Inn is more than a summer resort, allowing guests to enjoy the ambiance that each season brings to the Hamptons. Our central location to Sagaponack, Bridgehampton, East Hampton, and Sag Harbor, provides guests with the opportunity to enjoy the pleasures of these nearby villages. Visit wineries, beautiful ocean beaches, farms and art galleries.

Very beautiful B&B. Its a perfect place to stay when you just want to relax and enjoy the Hamptons. Beds are amazing!!I never slept so good at a hotel before and the room is very spacious. The person at the desk was very accommodating as well. Definitely, we will be back in the summer!

THE GIST: Don't bother paying that price for gross conditions Upon check in I was given a single bed room, as requested. I went into the room to find the thermostat set at the highest temperature & several ants crawling in the floor & around the door frame. I was immediately uncomfortable (why would house keeping leave the thermostat at this level after cleaning the room??) & looked at the rest of the room. It honestly didn't seem as though it had been cleaned. Linens had likely been replaced, but they did not seem clean. I pulled back the bedding to find a spider on the bed as well. I requested a room change & was moved to a double room that did not have bugs but was not clean. I had to purchase my own linen for my stay as I booked in advance & it was nonrefundable. I was on a work trip & a coworker was staying in the room newdoor. She was equally as uncomfortable & also purchased new linen for the duration of her stay.…

There is a reason this hotel/B7B shows you every picture of the place except where you are going to sleep. If they showed you those pictures, you wouldn't stay here. We stayed here last week, and we went out and bought new bedding. Yup, sheets, blankets, and pillows. So heads up, bring your own.

I normally book the Wainscott for my company's installation crew - it is their favorite place to stay at when we have jobs in the Hamptons. The large 2 room cottage has everything they need for a reasonable price. I was lucky enough to get to come out to a job in East Hampton and was able to book a room for myself to stay during the week of 4th of July last minute, for an extremely reasonable price. I was going to be there well after check-in time, so Jim arranged to leave the key somewhere I could find it when I finally arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and I would have loved to stay longer! Jim is so easy to work with and makes everything go smoothly. I will definitely be staying here again for my own personal trips, and actually will be booking 2 accommodations for my crew later today for another job next week. (I think it might be the only reason they look forward to jobs on the island!)…

I've been coming out East for the better part of a decade and cannot believe I only found this place this year. Jim and Steve are absolutely wonderful. The Wainscott Inn is one of the most charming, romantic places I've ever been to in the Hamptons. The location is PERFECT - Wainescott is right in btwn Bridge and East (5 minutes to each), and also 15 minutes to Sag Harbor, and then easy access to both Southampton and Montauk too. Perfect base to explore from - it literally doesnt get better than this location. You arguably have the BEST of the Hamptons in front of your door: Wolffer Estate is literally around the corner, as is Georgica beach - the most mystic, beautiful beach in certainly the Hamptons and probably the world. The grounds of the property itself as well as the house are so well kept and green and just stunning. A special shout out to Jim and Steve who went out of their ways to make us feel comfortable, they looked after us as if we were family, letting us borrow things like wine openers and pretty glasses on multiple occasions, knowing us by name etc. it was very special. Accommodation itself quaint and beautiful, the house so comfortable, we slept like babies, it's so quiet and very spacious. I'd highly recommend getting the King rooms (in the house) - definitely worth it and just amazing. This is the first time in all of my years of going to the Hamptons where I stayed at a hotel and did not feel ripped off (instead pleasantly surprised feeling like I got fantastic value for my money!). It was amazing and we cannot wait to come back. Thank you Steve and Jim!!! See you soon!…

Very beautiful grounds...and is centrally located in the hamptons. Reminiscent of a home in the hamptons, situated on 7 acres, with different styles of lodging and amenities that you will surely appreciate. You are near all of the attractions and service they provide is stellar. The owners Jim and Steve are hands on with the facility providing a pleasant experience lodging at their inn. They also provide up to date brochures/newspapers, maps and information on "The Hamptons", including attractions. What a relaxing experience...Look forward to coming again!

I work 24/7 and needed a quiet get away place for me and my girl. I found this place on google and called and booked 2 days over this past Labor Day weekend. I met Steve who owns and works in the office. I must say I own my own business and deal with customers 24/7 and Steve is the best !!!! Great service, great room, great pool and great location. We booked the suite and enjoyed the pool for 2 days and drove into Montauk for dinner. If you want quiet , great service, clean rooms and pool well this Is the place for you. I plan on going back In the fall as well. This coming from a guy who works around the clock and I have stayed In hotels all over the world and this is my new fav place.

This Hotel was perfect. We got a cottage for a family of 4. Bedroom loft area with a Queen bed up stairs, bedroom downstairs had 2 single beds. Short drive to beautiful Wainscott beach, and short drive to East Hampton. The owner could not have been nicer!
