My fiance and I stayed here for 1 night with our 2 dogs - we were greeted by Steve who quickly showed us to our room, a lovely spacious family room with all amenities. Steve explained where in the bar we could go with the dogs when dining etc and where we could let them out to do their 'business'....

This is a wonderful place to stay in the middle of a quiet pretty village. We were greeted and checked in speedily by Steve and shown to our room. Blythburgh. Beautifully decorated room with beams and a fireplace and an uneven floor. So full of character. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the chicken curry and haddock...

We were a party of 8 and had a perfect evening. Good company and the atmosphere and food was excellent. We were extremely well looked after by Rob and Alex who were very professional and couldn't have been better. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed three nights in this lovely traditional inn and enjoyed every moment. Good food, good beer, and good banter in the bar made evenings a delight, and the location is perfect for visiting around and about during the day. The inn is very dog friendly, and our newly blind old Fella enjoyed being with us everywhere - even at...

Pub was shut when we arrived in the late afternoon but a phone call to the pub was answered immediately by Steve the manager who let us in through the residents entrance off the car park. He was very friendly, carried our bag to our room and told us all we needed to know. Room was comfortable and perfectly adequate...

Have just spent a couple of days/nights at the Angel Inn. The staff could not have been more hospitable, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent, both at breakfast, and in the evening. Could not recommend it more. Carolyne and John.

Received with a warm welcome from Steve, stand-in mein host for the landlord, who did us proud, and looked after us brilliantly; thank you Steve, with a little help from Rob too! Food was fantastic, I couldn't add anything to the breakfast, evening meals superb! Our room was good being downstairs for anyone who has difficulty with stairs... A really...

Traditional old pub with quirky, cosy rooms, I cannot imagine anyone not enjoying a stay here. The extremely likeable Steve (apparently at the helm during the Management's vacation) and the rest of the staff went to great lengths to ensure the comfort of guests and bar customers alike. Nothing appeared too much trouble, and an extremely convivial atmosphere was maintained...

This is our regular haunt for a Good Lunch. A good Menu with plenty of choice and frequent changes. A good range of beers, which are frequently tested for quality. The staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Will be visiting again very soon.

This is a proper pub how all pubs should be! The decor is nice and comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming even though we were tourists. There is a selection of bar food, which we didn't try as we were going out for a meal elsewhere. They have a great selection of beers and nice cider as well as...
