If you have happened on this property looking for a PEI vacation, save some time and look no further. Every part of the Inn surpassed our expectations. Our room was very well appointed with a comfortable bed. The heat/ac unit worked well with none of the noise often associated with inn stays. And the food, OMG. We are foodies and love to try different restaurants when we travel. We ate at the inn of the first night as we were too car weary to drive again. Well, we immediately made reservations for the following two nights. If you don't try the scallop appetizer if offered, you are missing one of the best apps we have ever had. They have had the same chef since the Inn opened and it is obvious why there has been no change. How accommodating is the founder/builder/owner? We mentioned that we are sea glass lovers and she immediately went to her room and brought out her amazing collection of glass and pottery. She then proceeded to tell us where the best spots were on PEI to find glass. She is a wonderful hostess and we enjoyed every minute at the inn. By all means, check it out and you will not be disappointed in any way. Jeff L.

Jeff thank you so much for the wonderful review! I am very proud of our Chef and his team and will make sure to share your compliments with them. I am glad you enjoyed seeing the sea glass, you'll have to return to the Island to go on the glass hunt again! Karen Milligan Innkeeper

We were toward the end of the season. The web site makes this appear fantastic. I believe that during the summer the gardens add greatly to the charm. October was bleak. Then there was the room itself. It looked tired, the couch looked ancient, the bathroom from the 70's, and the window too dirty for the view. The bed was sooo hard. For the price we were very disappointed. Our dinner and breakfast were fine..nothing to rave about. The service was prompt and pleasant. I think that there should be a lower price for the end of the season.

Barbara thank you for taking the time to write a review. Unfortunately I have no power over the weather, I am sorry the night you stayed with us the weather did not cooperate and you were unable to enjoy your waterfront deck. With respect to the flowers October is late in the growing season in Eastern Canada ( I realize that based on where you live you probably did not realize this). I am also sorry that Tropical storm Dorian which caused a lot of damage in the eastern United States also played havoc with our flowers when it landed here overnight in September. As a result, things such as the flower boxes on each room's deck were removed earlier than planned and the overall gardens were not as usual. I appreciate that everyone has their own preference for their bed (over 99% of our guests find ours very comfortable especially with the mattress toppers) we certainly could have "improved" your sleep if you had stayed with us more than the one night. We are planning upgrades to the sofas this winter, thank you. With respect to our dining room, I see that one of you had an appetizer salad and one of you the salmon for your dinner, I am sorry those choices did not provide the wow factor that most of our guests experience ( as a room guest you could have enjoyed a full 3 course meal, your choice from our menu, for only $50 per person). I will pass on your compliments to Meridee your server! Karen Milligan Innkeeper

The Inn is located in a great spot and close to great beaches. The size of the rooms was great to accommodate a family. The carpets could use a cleaning but overall the service was friendly. I loved the balcony and great views.

Thank you Oskar but I am not sure you have the right property as all of your rooms have hardwood floors throughout (the rooms do have a small area rug so if this is what you are referring to my apologies) While I do not recognize your name if this review is for us I am glad you enjoyed our location/views and service! We stayed at The Inn at St. Peters 9 years ago and were impressed with the accommodations and great food. In September, 2019, we returned with another golden retriever and found the Inn was still very special. The setting on the Bay is perfect and the food and friendly staff make this a must visit. Add to that the amazing walks in Greenwich Provincial Park and you have the makings of great memories.

From the moment Karen checked us in to the day we checked out everything was wonderful. We spent a fabulous weekend here. All rooms at the Inn face the water. Beautiful views in a peaceful setting with beautiful gardens! Breakfasts were superb and so were our dinners. Room was large and comfortable and one could sleep for hours on the comfortable bed!! All the staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Only regret ... wish we could stay longer. We look forward to returning real soon.
