Gothic Eves is among the best B&B's that myself and my partner have stayed. We stayed in the Merlot room, which is a comfortable room located at the back of the inn on the second story. It has a large and beautiful window that overlooks the backyard. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was luxurious--with jets at the side and the top. I will say that this particular room is really best for individuals or couples, because you enter the room through the bathroom. Also a lot of people hang out in the backyard (it is beautiful!) so it's not the most private of the rooms in the B&B. Regardless it was lovely We really enjoyed the room and the grounds. Could have honestly spent the entire day at the inn it was so relaxing there :) The innkeepers have thought of everything. There are two fire pits for guests to use, hot tubs, hammocks, a spa, and the yard is covered in little areas for guests to enjoy. When we come back we will probably plan on spending more time enjoying everything the inn has to offer. The breakfasts we were served were really delicious--honestly better than most of the restaurants we tried while we were in town :) Also I have to thank our innkeeper, Rose, for being so accommodating to my food sensitivities. I often have to skip meals when I travel, but not at the Gothic Eves! She also makes cookies at night, which was a really nice touch. We snacked on them while they were still warm from the oven each night of our stay. The innkeepers have honestly thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Rose is a kind and warm person and managed to make us feel at home even amidst COVID. I was so appreciative of the steps she has taken to make her inn a safe place to stay--it definitely made us feel more comfortable. I was a little wary about going on this trip with the pandemic, but Rose has taken every precaution and it allowed me to be able to really relax and enjoy myself Thanks to the Gothic Eves for a fantastic stay! We hope to come back again soon :)

Property's Favorite Review
We stopped at the Inn at Gothic Eves for one night on a quick upstate trip. It is everything the other reviewers have mentioned and more. Rose was delightful - made sure we felt welcomed and had anything we needed. We stayed in the Syrah room and were impressed by the cleanliness and especially the updated bathroom which was unexpected in a Victorian house. The breakfast was exceptional - truly farm to table with home made bread. The pepper jelly which Rose makes herself was amazing. We were sorry to leave and hope to be back soon!

Thank you for writing a review. I am glad you enjoyed yourself. All of the bathrooms are unique to each other and updated with something special in each. Custom tiled and the heated floors in most of them are great during winter and fall. See you soon!

While a little pricier than comparable inns, we very much enjoyed TIaGE. It was our anniversary and they made our celebration weekend very memorable. The Finger Lakes region is pretty romantic and staying at the inn was the icing on the cake.
