We have stayed in the Domaine Peyrou last Friday, and we enjoyed this lovely B&B. Janine must be proud of her lovely Maison despite the rain and the temperature these days. The quiet location and the vineyard round there, were more incredible than expected. It was like staying in the Provence in the Russell Crowe film “A good year”. Her... More

We stayed in the main manor and found our accommodation spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed opening our large windows in the mornings to enjoy the views. Made great use of the swimming pool, located so it captures the sun all day long. We found Nienke very helpful, advising us of good places... More

We stayed in the "House of the Guardian" Nice location in rolling vineyards, and decent enough accommodation. However, we did recieve an unusual welcome. To be fair we did arrive far earlier than expected due to a clear run on the motorways, so we asked if we could just put some perishable goods in the gite refridgerator, and come back... More

Just want to say a big thank you to Neinke and Martin for yet another wonderful stay in the studio. We love the four poster bed and the large double ended bath. We love our own BBQ area and the fact you can walk into Lezech and get everything you need. The park is beautiful and a credit to all... More

Stayed with my family for one week. The setting is spectacular and the gardens are understated in the brochure. We went primarily for the tennis courts and location by the river and had one of our best ever vacation in France. It is easy to see why guests return and give positive reviews. Nearby are many delightful restaurants and the... More

My wife and I spent a week at Le Peyrou at the end of August 2013. We stayed in the Main Manor which although well equipped with a modern kitchen and bathrooms, nevertheless made us feel like we had stepped back in time with its high ceilings, canopied four poster beds and fantastic views from every window. Utterly charming! The... More

We have thoroughly enjoyed our latest visit at Le Peyrou with the 19 members of our family. Our party consisted of 9 children aged 6-16, 2 grandparents and 8 other adults. This is our third family trip to Le Peyrou, as it works so well for a vacation for a large number. The pool and tennis court kept all those... More

I agree wholeheartedly that the grounds are almost surreal with the large trees, remote location (but only 2min from the main road) and huge expanse. The crumbling buildings in this setting look like something from a movie. I also thought Nienke was a very pleasant lady and very good hostess (great recommendation on a local winery). The breakfast was nothing... More

When you arrive at Le Peyrou you do indeed think that you have stumbled upon a 'hidden' domain. The big house, the rambling gardens and ancient trees, it all feels quite undiscovered. It has a lovely combination of romantic charm and spacious comfort. We stayed in one of the Chambre d'Hotes in the Blue Room, a large corner room, with... More

We had a very relaxing week in August 2012, My husband and I plus 3 children - 15, 13 & 4. The gardens were described by our 4 year old as "Alice in Wonderland gardens", lots of little corners to discover, there is even a tyre swing and trapeze under an oak tree! The pool is lovely and comfortable to... More
