The concierge room has made my stay amazing. The concierge always has a great breakfast spread in the morning. Mr. Guy Loussaint was there everyday. He is kind polite and friendly. He makes atmosphere feel friendly and enjoyable to dine in.
We set up a guest room block for 20 guests and we were all very happy. My husband & stayed 2 nights for my wedding, June 10th, 2022-June 12, 2022. Deirdra at the front desk worked so hard to make sure we were taken care of & that all the guest gift bags were organized. Michael Valle worked so hard to set up my room block & keep me informed. He always replied to my inquires fast. He deserves a raise for his excellent work. We arranged breakfast in a private room for our overnight guests which was excellent. Maria Izquierdo also provided excellent customer service in setting up our reservation for our post wedding breakfast at Cooper's Mill. Breakfast: It was buffet style, but excellent. Very clean & lots of options. From Blueberry blitzes!!! to scrambled eggs, pancakes to bagels & creamcheese to gluten free yogurt & fruit. Room: Our king size room on 7th floor we were very happy in. There was an extra chaise couch we didn't even need, but nice to have it if someone extra was there. Also, air-conditioning very strong. A quiet pleasant stay! (side note: Our room didn't have a refigerator, but we heard some of the other rooms did, Did not bother us. just FYI for guests.) All our wedding guests were happy. Marriott is definitely still a safe choice for travelers. Thank you Marriott for making my wedding weekend so wonderful!…
Excellent stay at Marriott Westchester. Gladys and Rona go the extra mile as housekeepers; Gus at concierge lounge (& the evening lady) offer exceptional service, as do the front desk staff. Staff truly couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful! Excellent location right off Rt 287 near the Hudson River & scenic Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow.
This should not be under the Marriott brand any longer, old, dated, DIRTY and even falling apart!! If you want to stay at a Fairfield Inn with Marriott prices, this is your place! Management cares more about the bottom line than the guest experience at their property and this property should be avoided at all costs.
I stayed at this property on a number of occasions. It is going down the hill. I am a Platinum elite guest and can compare with other Marriott properties and hotel chains. The rooms needs updating, but the worst is the attitude. A waiter by the name of "Idaho" told me and my husband that we we "eating too much" at all you can eat buffet. He also told us you cannot get any more food from the buffet and food is being wasted. Never mind, their pastries are stale and I assume whatever is not consumed the days before, they try to serve again. That is right: undercooked, overcooked, expired food I am going to leave on my plate and not going to eat it. I am not going to the Restaurant any more and not staying in this Property ever again. Westchester Marriott lost a customer and I am taking my Business elsewhere.…
I was booked into the worst room in the hotel on the 3rd floor: behind the elevators and the staff access to their elevators/room. $4 for a cup of nasty Starbucks coffee. The room was completely void of any cleaning supplies!! ruth Chris restaurant had a nasty smell just as you walked into the reception area. the charge $400 to my cc/room before I arrived at my room for any charged I MIGHT MAKE!!!!!!!!!. Now, I have to wait for them to clear/reverse this bogus charge. I charged NOTHING to my room. The room is in need a serous refresh. The carpet was nasty and smelled. The bathroom was old, outdated and I would NEVER walk barefoot anywhere in this hotel. Stay somewhere else.
This property is in need of a series cash infusion and not just wall paper and framed artwork. NOT A SINGLE USB connection in the room in 2022 RJ45 data plugs? Seriously? Furnishing dated, bathroom dated, pool drained (because of COVID SMH) Just a bad experience and the sad part is I believe I left a similar review SEVERAL years ago.
Where to start as I've stayed at this hotel 5 times recently, I'm really not sure why. Firstly, you are lucky if you get a room where everything works, usually the AC / Heat is turned down or off so you have to call maintenance to fix it. Not good if you have got in from a long flight. Secondly the front desk is generally beyond surly and apathetic. There are one or two decent members of staff but most have a 'cannot be bothered' attitude. Bathrooms are old, carpets are tired and this is not really anywhere close to what is expected of a Marriott hotel. On a positive note, the gym is pretty good with lots of equipment. Stay if it is cheap but don't expect a problem free stay.
Just left the Westchester Marriott and have to say it was one of my better hotel experiences in some time. The staff, it starts and ends with them. From front desk, to restaurant, concierge lounge, etc.. They were all very friendly and just seemed to be genuinely happy and caring. My room was clean and well attended. Food was good in the lounge as well as in the Cooper’s restaurant. It seems like the hotel is ramping up in business so I am excited to return and see what further amenities return.
Stay away from this hotel. The management is horrible. They had a guy who “pretended” to be a manager who charged my credit card for a breakfast that was supposed to be complimentary. Fortunately, I was able to get my funds back. The real hotel manager listens to his lazy staff before paying customers. I would strongly recommend staying down the street at the courtyard.
