Room was big, comfortable beds, but dark and far from reception with stairs and confusing layout getting in and out. Tried going on a nice walk around the grounds, but we found ourselves behind the hotel on their service or car-park road, leading out, while it would be nice to have an indicated path all around the property for guests...

I enjoyed my recent weekend trip to NYC and my lodgings in Tarrytown NY. As per previous reviews, the parking area can be quite a walk to your room, of course depending on your lodging. The room was excellent in appearance and very comfortable.

The king standard room was very comfortable. However there is no elevator. Did not like walking up the stairs carrying bags. The property is beautiful and very serene. I am 60 years old and I found the layout challenging.

The grounds of this Westchester hotel are absolutely magnificent, and make for lovely walks. The two mansions on the property are beautiful . The aqueduct trail is down the hill and about a 15 minute from the hotel and that also is lovely. The health club and pool are excellent. So is the breakfast buffet, So if you stay here...

We attended a wedding and stayed here in early November. We had a great stay - the room was clean, nicely arranged, and the bathroom and water temperature not an issue. The wedding was beautiful outside even though it was early November and a bit chilly. The wedding venue inside the main Estate House was perfect, elegant, and the food...

It is rare that you find a hotel that is so beautifully situated. This would be a lovely place for a reunion or a wedding, in terms of the grounds. The rooms, however, were only adequate - quite disappointing considering the outward look of the estate. That is not to say I wouldn't stay here again. I definitely would, especially...

My husband and I stayed at the Tarrytown House Estate mid-October to enjoy a weekend around Sleepy Hollow & Tarrytown. PARKING FOR CHECK-IN: There are several parking lots throughout the property. Upon arrival we were unable to use the temporary parking for check-in. We watched several young men, park in the temporary parking and then enter the old house on...

A winding and sprawling estate that i didn't have the opportunity to fully explore. Arrived late at night-- after 1am and left at noon. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful and the room was spacious and clean.

I couldn't book this hotel at a better time. Winter decided to wait till Spring this year, which is probably why we could still enjoy warm weather, breath taking views from the terrace overlooking Hudson River and colorful park with wide variety of colorful leafs showered in the morning light. Drinking coffee in the morning in such surroundings on Adirondack's...

Hotel grounds are incredible and well maintained. The rooms are tough to get too. No elevators and if you have bags you have to lug them around to get to the guest rooms that are on a a different wing of the building. Rooms was decent, clean and good size. Parking is far away from the hotel lobby and guest...
