Surprised my boyfriend for an overnight in early April. We'd read about Nehapwa in House Magazine some time prior, and the experience surpassed expectations. It was amazing!! Sadly, we could only stay for one night, but during that time we left only briefly for a then-still-snowy walk. The setting is charming, the landscape striking and serene. We really felt we... More

Four girlfriends spent several days of true bliss in this magical retreat. The views from the porch were breathtaking. All the falls colors on a scene of trees that seemed to go forever. The rooms are so wonderfully designed with an historic flavor of contemporary elegance. Each bedroom is a retreat onto itself with fireplace, sofa, desk and the most... More

There are no words to fully explain how much I love this place. My girlfriend and I go up there twice every year with three other couples and the beauty of the grounds, the level of service and the peace of mind you immediately feel upon arrival are borderline priceless. Tom and Jeff are the hosts of the house and... More

The location is convenient from manhattan but far enough away to feel like a true getaway. The grounds and the house are impeccably maintained and Tom and Jeff always seem to be working on a new project to make it even better. There are plenty of activities in the area to keep you occupied IF for some reason you decide... More

I took my wife and two small children to stay at Nehapwa for a weekend and it was one of the best weekends away I have had for a long time. The house, in the heart of the Catskills has a very special energy, with beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding, a full... More

Everything was perfect, the rooms, the decor, the food, the setting and especially the hosts, Tom & Jeff. You couldn't find a more beautiful setting in the Hudson Valley and the fall colors were spectacular. Sitting on the covered veranda in comfy chairs looking out over the picture perfect landscape of forest and mountains is something to behold. What brings... More

I just had the fortune of attending a small leadership retreat at Nehapwa this week. I can't say enough good things about the property, the rooms, the food and the team! Our leadership team has been fortunate to stay at many wonderful 5 star hotels and I would definitely hold Nehapwa to that standard and by far the best B&B... More

I was looking for 'retreat-like' getaway and when I found this place it sounded and looked like it would give me the rest I needed. As soon as I drove up it I knew my hunch was right, this was the perfect escape I was needing. Every thing about the place was amazing , the grounds, the home and the... More

Magical, amazing place, delicious food & lovely hosts. I love coming here. I didn't really want to post this review since I wanted Nehapwa to remain a secret but I want to make sure other people are able to experience this wonderful place.

Set in the beautiful Catskills and a short drive from the village of Hudson with its many antique shops, Nehapwa is the ideal location to spend a restful few days. The house and property are very well kept and the rooms are beautifully appointed. A wonderfully meticulous restoration effort over the past years has brought the historic home back to... More
