Really super nice boutique and rustic mountain hotel in the Catskills. The staff were very all friendly, with excellent service. You could tell they were working very hard to make everyone's stay an excellent one. Breakfast was included each morning, with a choice of cereals, yogurt, etc., or a hot breakfast with a delicious choice of the day. It really was very good. Stayed in The Raven cabin. Beautifully decorated, excellent gas fireplace, comfortable bed, jacuzzi tub, comfy and cozy with plenty of space. Even a screened in porch. The Wifi was a bit spotty at times, but overall, not too bad. All in all, an excellent stay in Tannersville.

My stay was pure magic, even if it was just for one night. This hidden gem provided the perfect sanctuary to relax and unwind after a day immersed in nature. The staff greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality, making us feel truly welcomed. And the breakfast... oh my, it was simply divine! But what truly made the night unforgettable was the enchanting atmosphere. Under the full moon, we gathered around a crackling fire, embraced the peaceful silence, and awakened to the harmonious sounds of nature. It was a captivating experience that will forever hold a special place in my heart. This is a place of pure enchantment, even for a brief stay. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a magical escape.

We had a really lovely stay this weekend without our kids (for the first time since COVID) and planned on just relaxing, no skiing or anything official planned, so the hotel room was one of the biggest factors for us deciding where to stay. **Everything was REALLY clean. Bedding and towels were exceptional, plush, soft, and luxurious - they didn’t spare any expense and the website doesn’t over-promise** Staff was very friendly - especially the innkeeper and day manager. They went above and beyond to fix the few issues we had with our stay and really cared that we had a good experience. We had two issues during our stay — one we know for next time and one thing they could fix too: 1) Their breakfast is AWESOME. But no one told us you have to sit down before they *make* you the hot food special in the kitchen. We arrived at breakfast and saw the continental options only and decided to go to breakfast in town (since again our whole trip was about relaxing and eating, we weren’t going to waste it on yogurts, boxed cereal, or DIY toast). But the second day we figured it out and it was a wonderful breakfast, bar none — so know that you have to sit down first and order like you would at a restaurant even though it looks so laid back! 2) We had very noisy neighbors to start our stay. This is a dog friendly hotel so you expect noise from dogs, etc unless you get a private cabin…. But you don’t expect the walls to be unreasonably thin and I feel like this is the one thing the hotel could really address since they spent so much recently on an otherwise exceptional renovation and market it as a romantic getaway. You shouldn’t have to whisper in your room and then count on everyone else to give you the same courtesy to enjoy your premium accommodations at a premium price. We got lucky because our neighbors checked out so we got to spend the majority of our second day in peace and quiet and then that night too since the next people literally dropped their bags and spent the rest of the evening out - I know because we heard all of their plans through the wall(!!!) Overall, a really great new place with great new management. We will probably be back with our family to enjoy the vast board games, books, and movie collection. The town has a lot of great old and new restaurants but also quite a few restaurants that are still closed since COVID it seemed. But nevertheless it has a great variety of shops and cuisine; check with the inn for the latest when you get there because we figured out a lot more about the town after exploring and then asking! And the Mountaintop Arboretum was AWESOME; even in the snow, we enjoyed a great hike, views, etc without any special shoes or equipment. I’m sure it’s lovely in the summer too.

The Inn was beautiful and charming! Nice location! We had a cozy room with a gas fireplace and it was much appreciated since we had rain for our long weekend. Hosts were super nice and breakfast was amazing! They were very knowledgeable about the area and helpful with recommendations!

We absolutely loved our weekend here. My husband and I went to just get away and rest, and the beautiful cozy room with fireplace was the perfect spot. I was really impressed by how perfect it would also be for either a family (game room with wide variety of board games, dvds, books & snacks) or a group of friends (bar with cute seasonal drinks at night, nice outdoor sitting areas). Breakfast is provided and for the other 2 meals you’re on your own. The hotel is at the top of a hill, at the bottom of which is the cutest town with cute shops and restaurants. The trip walking down and then back up the hill in the snowy dark was a little much for us older/lazier folks (a flashlight would have helped), but there is also parking in town if you’d rather take a 2 min drive.

Had the best and most relaxing stay! Everything was perfect... breakfast was amazing. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. Sitting out by the fire was so nice... having blankets made it that much better. When we were there, they had a spike hot chocolate special which was delicious! Being able to chill, grab a game and play by the fire was a lot of fun. Highly recommend this location for couples and families who are looking to relax and reconnect. It is in walking distance to town, so there are plenty options for food. It's close to different wineries, and breweries if you are looking to do that. We are already planning our next trip back in the spring!

My husband and I have been coming to Tannersville for years (we got married around there). It was a sleepy town that had no energy. We decided to plan a weekend stay and landed at the Hotel Mountain Brook. This was exactly what we were looking for. Small(ish), great design, the friendliest staff, fireplaces, Adirondack charm, complimentary snacks, soft drinks, and coffee, and charming, comfortable rooms. Breakfast is stellar and included in your stay. It's just a lovely gem of a hotel. We will definitely be coming back with friends.

This hotel was magnificent! I took a trip with my boyfriend right after the new year and it was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. The staff could not have been more welcoming and the atmosphere was cozy and felt like home. The hotel offers free snacks, beverages, games, DVDs, and books to take with you to your room. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and fresh, and the room was unique and spacious. I will 100% be coming back to Hotel Mountain Brook!

My family and I had a wonderful stay during the week between Christmas and NYE. The kids loved the game room and snacks, and the adults enjoyed the cozy fireplace and delicious breakfast. The staff was warm and welcoming—we would highly recommend!
