It is really close to Syracuse U where we had a tour. about 5 mins or so walk. Check in/out was professional and quick. loved the style of the hotel. Think it was originally a temple. Design of each floor is slightly different. yes it is a quirky and unique style. was nice to look and walk around. everyone was... More

I was really pleased with the decor & style of the property. Parking was a breeze; rooms nicely sized and staff was friendly. Breakfast was basic but good & fresh. The environmental efforts of the property are commendable. There were just a couple items that I must mention that brought the review from "excellent" to "very good". The first is... More

From the moment you walk in you know this place is special. The lobby is just beautiful with stain-glass and a beautiful bar where they set up the breakfast in the morning. There is also an outdoor patio area off the back. The room we had was lovely. Nice comfy bed, big bathroom. The decor is very relaxing bamboo like... More

The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting Syracuse University; it's on the edge of campus and within walking distance of Marshall Street, etc. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. Amanda at the front desk was very welcoming at check-in. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The room was large and clean and included a refrigerator.... More

This hotel is a hotel which is clean and located very well if you want to visit the university. Rooms are quite spacious. The hotel on itself is very basic and there is not anything going on in the hotel, not a bar or anything but than again because of its location the student bars are close by. I don't... More

This hotel was outstanding! I loved the "Green" touches. The shower was great, bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was extremely clean. Beautiful hotel and surroundings! A definite must stay!!

Loved the tile in the bathroom, the drapes that opened fully, and real oatmeal for breakfast. The whole hotel felt airy and welcoming. The "store" by the reception stand was inviting, but the lack of posted prices kept me away.

Stayed here for a college visit to Syracuse. Great location just down the street from campus. Super cool hotel space. We stayed one night on a week long college road trip and this hotel was by far the highlight. Very comfortable beds, bright and airy modern rooms and the breakfast buffet in the morning was not your usual hotel buffet.... More

Love Syracuse- cool town and obviously a very vibrant college town. Hotel Skyler is literally a block away from main entrance to Syracuse U. There are many eateries and bars in immediate area. The hotel itself is very comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and attentive. Location is also very convenient to interstates in all directions. Highly recommend.

We were spending one night in Syracuse to visit family at Crouse Hospital (we live 30 miles East) . We usually stay exclusively at Hampton Inns, but Hotel Skyler appeared within walking distance of Crouse and this appealed to us. We arrived at 11am and they graciously allowed us to check in at that time, instead of the 3p (did... More
