The hotel is average overall. Nothing exemplary. It is nicely accessible to the highway. But the reason it gets 2 starts instead of 3 is a major security issue that left guests vulnerable. When I checked in, I found that my key card wouldn’t open one of the secondary doors closest to my room. They tried to give me a new key card, but that still didn’t work. Then I attempted to enter via door #2, which is in the middle of the building adjacent to the parking lot. I found that while my key card didn’t turn the light green, the door had been left permanently unlocked. This door gave someone access to a corridor with rooms on the ground level, and stairs to similar corridors on floors 2 and 3. When I brought this to the attention of a staff member on a Saturday morning, I was told they left it this way so that some contractors working in the building could get in. That’s no excuse to leave a door unlocked. Even if they did that, clearly nobody locked it again after they finished on Friday. If their key card reader is broken, then have the contractors walk the extra 50’ to get to the main entrance. For all 4 days I stayed there, the door remained unlocked. There is no excuse for a hotel that does not take basic safety and seriously. Unless you want to risk being robbed, raped, or otherwise victimized, I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel until IHG finds new management.

We had a quiet, comfortable stay while heading south through New York and New Jersey. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked with the exception of one lightbulb, which was quickly replaced. The front desk staff and the maintenance engineer were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Our one “complaint” was with the height of the toilet seat. For old folks with old knees, it’s much too low and there was nothing to grab onto. It also would have been helpful to have a listing of the tv channels. There was no channel guide on the remote. We had to surf through the channels to see what was on. We had a very good dinner in The Koi Lounge. Food was good! Price was reasonable! Server/bartender was very pleasant, but service was slow because she was working alone. The kitchen is not adjacent to the lounge, so she had to do lots of running back and forth. The main restaurant was closed because the hotel was not busy enough to warrant opening it in the middle of this week. The breakfast buffet @ $18 was very good. It featured a good variety of hot and cold items + eggs/omelettes cooked to order. Good coffee! We would stop here again when passing through.

We stayed for just one night while passing through. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We dined at the Koi Lounge. Drinks and the meal were wonderful! Chantal was a delight! She was attentive, helpful, and friendly, making us feel right at home. The beds were very comfortable with plush pillows. The atrium is huge, and attractive with a modern vibe. What wasn't modern was the alarm clock with the iPhone dock. If you happen to have a first generation iPhone with the super wide connector, you'd be all set. At least there were plenty of AC receptacles to plug in our chargers. Suggestion to hotel: We used the EV charger, and found it occupied when we checked in around 4:00 pm. The cars were gone later and we were able to plug in, thankfully. We've stayed at other hotels that restrict access to the chargers for guest only using an access code. There is a nearby office complex with paid EV chargers for workers. We suspect that the hotel's free charger attracts them, limiting access for guests. Please consider limiting EV access to hotel guests.

This hotel needs a huge overhaul. While the staff was very nice the rooms were dumps. From the mold everywhere they tried to hide with crappy renos years ago to sheets that were just bad. The hotel is convenient and I guess for the price well... It has a very large open lobby which is nice and the bar has good food. The rooms omg awful.

Stayed there one night. There was no toilet paper or hair dryer in the bathroom and the alarm clock did not work. Problemscwerecsttendedvto quickly. The carpets could use replacing. On the positive side, staff very helpful and friendly, the room was quiet and we ate at the bar/restaurant in the lobby. Food was good and the salmon my husband ordered was $5 cheaper than other restaurants in the area.

I would not stay here again. The hotel is understaffed and what staff is at the hotel simply does not care. Keys did not work, they would not clean the room (lack of staff), our safe was broken and no one came to fix it despite many calls, and the food at breakfast was bad. We were here for a wedding. They had a welcome reception and the hotel staff turned off the music during the middle of a song while people were dancing - at 9:00 pm. These are just a few examples. Find a different hotel if you can.

Stayed at the hotel July 15 to July 17, 2022. First night I checked in went to my family event on Friday night, went back to my room key would not work went to front desk 3 times that night they finally contacted someone on maintenance to let me in. Second day went to brunch again after going back to room key would not work 2 more times to front desk and maintenance opens the door.Got dress for a BBQ at hotel and 2 hours later went back to my room to get rest before next event again key not working to get in room front desk person comes up to my room and can't open the door either. She tells me she will be back and never returns 20 minutes later I go down to find out what is going on and let her know she just left me waiting in hallway, she informs me she had to call maintenance to come repair the lock, after waiting in lobby for 2 hours maintenance shows up and can't open door either, said the front desk person gave him dead batteries, so he had to go to store for batteries. 2.5 hours later I get in room medicine and clothes were in room. Had 30 minutes to get dressed for a formal event which I was late. Later after event the key still doesn't work can't make this up smh. After all the waiting and not being able to get in room the only want to give me $50 off unacceptable. Do not stay at this hotel never again worst customer service ever!!!

Safe in the room didn’t work because of low battery. Headboards we’re torn, and bathroom doors and tiles are in disrepair. Every time someone closes room on the same floor, our room door smashes. We didn’t even get free water bottles, and Purell stations didn’t have soap.

It took us a little time to check in. Although we had reservations, the desk staff did not appear to be very familiar with either the computer system or the hotel itself. This is not an inexpensive hotel. It is a rather long walk to get to the elevators from the front desk. The room’s bathroom is both cramped and poorly laid out. There is only one set of towels for each guest. The towels are not luxurious. The bathroom countertop is both tiny and awkward. There is not enough light to shave safely. The toilet paper roll installation seems to have been installed as an afterthought. Turning on the shower is just not safe for a shorter person. There is no microwave oven. There is no breakfast provided. We were not informed, when we checked in, that there was complimentary coffee in the lobby. This hotel needs a management review by their corporate office.

DO NOT stay at this hotel if you want: • a working thermostat (air conditioning unit); • a comfortable room; • a hassle-free stay; • a quiet place to relax; • a hotel staffed with adequate security; and • a nice room with quality amenities; I spent three nights at this place & ended up needing to stay in 4 separate rooms! Day/Night 1: Rm#316 & Rm#323—Checked into Rm#316. A/C unit broken. Maintenance guy couldn’t fix it. He said many of the A/C units weren’t working cuz they were old. So, they moved us late in the hot evening to Rm#323 with a working A/C—finally. Day/Night 2: Early Sunday morning noisy guests next door decided Sunday AM was a perfect time to party in the hallway. About 8 people from several rooms were yelling, laughing, throwing things, hitting the walls, and slamming doors. I complained & the Front Desk sent “security” (I guess), but everyone just laughed at them. And they kept it up. Nothing was ever done about them. So, we left to get a little peace&quiet. That groups ended up checking out. But later that night, a large group of new guests, just as loud as the previous group, took over most of the rooms in the hotel. Again, security(?) did nothing. Day/Night 3: Rm#341 & Rm#167: The new group of guests ended up being even worse the next morning. We again had to leave the hotel to get some quiet. When we returned at 2PM for a nap, the people in the room next to us had literally turned their room into a makeshift day-care center for all the kids in their group. I saw at least 10 women (believe it or not) in the room watching over multiple screaming, crying, tantrum-throwing kids—about a dozen of them—from babies to toddlers. So much for taking a nap. So, we called AGAIN to complain. Nothing was done about them, but we were given yet another room—our third one: Rm#341. I thought everything would be fine. But I was wrong. THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT IN THIS ROOM ALSO DIDN’T WORK! I called at 5:15PM for maintenance…..By 6PM—no one came. So, I went to the front desk to ask, in person, for someone to please fix the A/C. Still, no one came. I again went down to the front desk at 6:45PM & once more asked for maintenance. Then, at about 7:30PM, a guy finally showed up (i.e., over two hours after I had first called about the A/C). Not surprisingly, this maintenance guy also said the A/C was broken (as were several of them in other rooms). So, we moved to our 4th room….. Rm#167. Day 4: Rm#167: We checked out on our final day, but not without more issues. 1. The bill slipped under the door had a charge for breakfast, which was supposed to be included with our room rate. But the woman who took our breakfast coupons seemed upset that we were going to be getting a free breakfast—so she apparently decided to just charge us. I had to have that charge removed upon check-out. (Interestingly, while waiting to speak to the front desk, the lady in front of me was complaining about their A/C not working in their room—they must’ve been given one of our reject rooms.) 2. Much to my shock, at 8:15AM, someone decided to play BAGPIPES in their room. The shockingly loud “music” literally reverberated across the entire 1st floor (and lobby) like someone was blasting music thru a loudspeaker. I mentioned to the Front Desk: “Did you know someone s playing bagpipes and it’s really loud?” The staffer rolled her eyes and said: “I know they’re having some sort of celebration or ceremony.” 3. Regarding all four rooms, they were inconsistent with their amenities. One room lacked towels & had no soaps/shampoo in shower. Another room had the soaps/shampoos, but had no comforters on the beds. The third room had black out curtains that didn’t close all the way. And in ALL 4 ROOMS, the USB ports didn’t work. The ONLY good things about this place was the breakfast buffet, which came with our room(s). It was fantastic. But, tbh, I would have much rather bought my own breakfast somewhere else and been able to stay in just 1 room for 3 nights & have an A/C unit that actually worked. I’ll NEVER stay at another Crowne Plaza—ever.
