We stayed one night at this B&B and really enjoyed it. A lovely, historic old home in a neighbourhood of formerly grand homes, some very well lived in or approaching being derelict. Some encouraging signs of restoration too and the location is convenient to transit going in every direction. The host is gracious and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our time lingering over breakfast speaking with her. The breakfast was great! An interesting and comfortable place to stay if you are in the neighbourhood.

Our stay was relaxing and refreshing. The accommodations were very comfortable inside this lovely Victorian decorated home. We spent long hours in the evening conversing in the splendid environment Danuta has created. She is a very generous and gracious host. Her breakfast are outstanding. She is well versed in the interesting history of the home and area. We enjoyed eating and talking at breakfast so much we stayed longer than intended.

There's classical music on the radio, quietly, in the living room. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Your host, Danuta, will take care of you. She will do her utmost to ensure that your day starts with a breakfast of your choice. You're a 15 min (ish) bus ride from the Staten Island Ferry and Manhattan. It's just a nice home from home. After a hectic day out, it's there for you; relax, make yourself a coffee and put your feet up. There's also a very pleasant veranda at guests' disposal too. There is peace and quiet here. When we arrived after a flight from Europe, Danuta welcomed us with tea/coffee and cake. (We needed it!) The dining table accommodates all the guests, so breakfast can be a wonderful opportunity to get to know people from all over. We met visitors from China, Russia, Germany, France, California and Manhattan (!).
