Made a last minute decision to head to this adorable village for the night and checked online to see that there was availability for all rooms that evening. The Inn is part of the Sherwood properties so they also manage the Sherwood, The Packard House, The Arbor House and the Village Inn. So, figured we would check to see what...

We stayed in the Terrace Room at the Village Inn for an overnight getaway in April. You need to check in at the Sherwood Inn around the corner (would have been helpful if that information was included in the hotel confirmation). Luckily we were familiar with the town and knew where the Sherwood was. Our room was very nice, the...

We stayed in the cottage room on a Friday night for $225 + tax. That seemed expensive but it was a Dickens weekend. Checked in at the Sherwood INN. The Village Inn only has 4 rooms that share a common area which was nicely decorated for Christmas. There's a nice buffet table with nothing on it. A shared single serve...

Went to the Village Inn on a Saturday and had a very pleasant surprise. They had a very thorough menu. I had a hard time choosing as it all sounded good. Went with their Saturday special prime rib with shrimp. Lots of mushrooms, good horseradish, mashed potatoes with gravy, Mmmmmm. Our waitress was very attentive and knew the menu well....

The Village Inn is owned by the same people as the Sherwood Inn which is around the corner and where you go for breakfast each morning. It would however had been nice to have a coffee maker in our room while we got ready to go out. Other than that, we stayed in the French Country Room which was very...

I really enjoyed my stay in the Cottage Room at the Village Inn. The room was clean and charming. The location of the Inn is great because all of the shops and restaurants are literally right downstairs. The staff at the Sherwood Inn went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasurable stay. Plus, the complimentary breakfast at the...

A really nice place to stay in Skaneateles! The location can't be beat, the rooms are so incredibly clean and big, and you can't go wrong staying here. Winter rates are unbeatable! If you can, try to get the French Room as it is the best.

We normally stay at the Sherwood Inn when we visit Skaneateles, but because it was a last minute trip and we had nothing booked ahead, we managed to instead get a room here (which is also managed by the Sherwood). We stayed in the French Country room on the third floor, and I'd have to say that I was very...

The Village Inn is owned by the Sherwood Inn which was booked so we took this which is around the corner from Main Street. The room is up two flights of stairs so it's a hike to get your luggage there. The room was very clean, nice king size bed, gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub. Although it's $10 extra for a...

This was without a doubt, the most beautiful room we've ever stayed in. The Village Inn is part of the Sherwood Inn but it is around the corner and above a store called the Paris Shop. There are 4 rooms in this building and each have their own flavour but I imagine just as gorgeous. This room had a King...
