This hotel was probably one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in (Marriott traveler). The room was spacious and the bathroom and fixtures are state of the art! Top of the line mattress, fluffy towels and Apple TV! The best part was not having to go anywhere for dinner or breakfast, as the restaurant downstairs was phenomenal! I must add that the owner was so welcoming and was especially accommodating when our plans changed! This is a hotel that I would come back to for a couples weekend! Quaint, quiet and perfect! Thank you for taking pride in your hotel and restaurant!
We bid on a getaway near Cooperstown and were delighted to find that the Nash and its restaurant provided the perfect weekend away. The town is very small yet quaint, but it is the owners of the Nash and its restaurant 204 Main that make this place so special. Their unique sense of style made this the hippest B&B ever! We could not have been made to feel more welcome, and the breakfasts and dinner we enjoyed were wonderful. If you are planning a trip to Cooperstown, this is the perfect place for couples to stay.
Book now if you want to stay in this fabulous small hotel. There are only three rooms, which are upstairs from an equally wonderful restaurant. The rooms are large, modern, immaculately clean, and eclectically decorated. The beds are comfortable, cozy, and have really nice linens. The food in the restaurant (204 Main) is delicious. We had the cauliflower and the guacamole as appetizers, along with the homemade Italian sausage and polenta. We had a bottle of delicious prosecco. And a fabulous dessert made of chocolate mousse and whipped cream. Jim and Norm, the owners, are very nice people and will take excellent care of you. Highly recommended!
Such a wonderful experience. The hospitality was amazing and the owners personally go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of. The room was amazing, and the bed was comfortable, plus the shower was awesome. The breakfast in the morning was 5 star restaurant quality. Would highly recommend. The perfect hotel. Can't wait to stay there again!!
I know this is listed as a bed and breakfast, but it has the feel of a modern, luxury hotel. It is a unique spot, beautifully designed rooms, huge, open, airy, modern. A warm welcome from Jim, the owner, is just the beginning. These rooms are comfortable and beautiful. A full breakfast is provided, and if you have time, (we did not) you MUST have dinner at the restaurant. I think this may be the best choice in the area. The bar area is warm and friendly, with a brilliant choice of wines by the glass. Breakfast, includes eggs and bacon from "down the street", local goat cheese, and amazing coffee. Jim will accomodate most any special need, and is a wonderful, warm host. If you are lucky enough to book Room 3, which includes a huge living room and fully equipped kitchen, bring along some ground coffee, and enjoy an early morning, but don't miss dinner in the hotel restaurant. Sharon Springs is a remarkable, tiny, historic town, with a wonderful artistic undertone. Do not miss it, nor this wonderful accomodation.…
