Our stay at Schroon Lake Bed and Breakfast was wonderful! The suite (bedroom, sitting/TV room, bath) was very quaint, clean, and comfortable, as well as the common areas and outdoor areas being very inviting. Our hosts, Sharon and Mark were the best, not to mention breakfast being over the top each morning. 5 stars all the way - Looking forward to our next visit!

We travel a lot and we prefer staying at a B & B rather than a hotel. After reading prior reviews, we chose to stay at the Schroon Lake B & B. What a terrific choice that was! The entire place is immaculately clean. And, it's charming. Mark and Sharon have perfected the B & B experience. Everything that we could have wanted was provided for us. Our bedroom had a king sized, very comfortable bed. We also had a sitting room with the TV, couch, chair, table & chairs, microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom, with walk-in shower completed our suite. There are two luggage racks in the bedroom, where most places have just one. Having two suitcases, it was awesome to each have a place to put them. Several wastebaskets, multiple boxes of tissues, bathroom cups, hair dryer, toiletries, robes, makeup mirror, the list goes on and on. They think of everything!! Mark helped us bring our luggage upstairs, which was much appreciated! The front porch is full of comfy rockers and we spent quite a bit of time out there. Then there were the breakfasts!! Not only was everything delicious, but the presentation made us feel like we were in a five star restaurant. Coffee, tea and pastries are available in the afternoons. Mark and Sharon bend over backwards to make sure that your stay is a pleasant one. We will definitely be returning to this lovely oasis.

This wonderful B & B is very clean, comfortable and beautiful in every way. We've been enjoying staying at this lovely home for a number of years and it's become our favorite getaway destination. Hosts Mark and Sharon are most welcoming, friendly and informative about the area. The scrumptious breakfasts are elegantly served and prepared using the finest local ingredients, You surely will be delighted whenever you choose to visit. We are so happy we found this perfect home away from home. Thank you so much Mark and Sharon! We look forward to staying again soon!

Greeted warmly and given the details of what we needed to know in a clear and even humorous manner. Spacious and comfortable room and adjoining sitting area and as others have stated, wonderfully prepared breakfast's.
The room and house were beautifully appointed and everything was clean.
Both Mark and Sharon wore masks and there was hand sanitizer to use upon entering the spacious home.

My Wife and I had an amazing 4 day stay at the Schroon Lake B&B, it was such a beautiful and memorable time, we stayed in the LELAND Suite, absolutely gorgeous and I am already missing Marks Gourmet Breakfasts and evening special treats when we came back from our day trips.

We miss our morning chats with Mark and Sharon on local historical events and this is truly a Gem of an establishment in the ADK and the Best Value by far for short or long weekend getaways. This is truly a 5 STAR Rating.

See you soon, Jerry & Shirley

I cannot say enough nice things about Mark and Sharon and my stay here. They are lovely and the perfect hosts, gracious, warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable on the area. I enjoyed talking with them and the other guests on the porch in the morning and evenings. Mark's gourmet breakfasts were fabulous and filling, served on the lovely porch among the hummingbirds. They even supplied to go bags with yummy baked goods to go, which came in handy when out hiking and there was always coffee, tea and a sweet afternoon treat to greet me on my return in the afternoon/evening. The rooms were clean, comfortable and welcoming and I felt very safe and comfortable there. I can't say enough great things about this place and will definitely return next time I am in the area.

This b&b is a delightful home away from home providing a wonderful respite after a day of hiking or local sight seeing.

Mark and Sharon are excellent and attentive hosts who were thoughtful of all my food allergies. The morning breakfast was a full breakfast with egg (or egg substitute for me), bacon, toast, roasted potato cubes, fruit, and muffins (GF, vegan and soy-free for me). The afternoon cookies were a welcome treat after a long day.

Also, the seating in my room with table and chairs were perfect to relax in the morning and after dinner.

Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our Mountain View Suite was spacious, immaculate, and very comfortable. We were provided with anything and everything we could possible need, or want, including soft terry cloth robes. The wide porch was a great place to read, watch the hummingbirds, and enjoy the beautiful and many hanging baskets of petunias, and surrounding landscaping. The breakfasts were sumptuous, and I even got the recipe for Mark’s amazing home baked bread. Too bad I didn’t ask for the recipe for his amazing scones. His culinary expertise was honed in classes by a French pastry chef. Mark and Sharon are engaging, kindhearted, and excellent innkeepers. We enjoyed meeting the other guests. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Doug and Chris would definitely come back!

My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Schroon Lake B&B. Mark and Sharon are fantastic hosts. Our suite, the 'Pine View', was immaculate, spacious and cozy, with a separate bedroom, living room and bathroom. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever experienced away from home.
The best part of our stay was the front porch where we spent time having a delicious home-made breakfast by Mark, chatting with follow guests and enjoying the fresh mountain air. Sharon has exquisite taste in all areas of the home. We can't wait to return for another enjoyable weekend!

The Schroon Lake B&B is such a great Bed and Breakfast. Sharon and Mark are very attentive to the needs of their guests and make everything about their B&B warm and welcoming. The bed is so comfortable, the room is large with a separate living space. Breakfasts are a real treat. We have been back a number of times and are never disappointed. Thank you for your hospitality!!
If you spend any time sitting quietly on the porch (a place where you can have breakfast outdoors) you may even have the treat of seeing a hummingbird!!
