#9 of 13 B&Bs / Inns in Saratoga Springs
Our Adirondack Lodge style Bed & Breakfast was built in 1896 and was operated as a lodge in the early 1900's. We're happy to continuing this tradition by bringing a taste of Adirondack luxury to downtown Saratoga Springs. Our rooms range from double occupancy rooms to suites that offer all the comforts of home. Our guestrooms are comfortably furnished with either queen or king size beds. During the warmer months relax in our in-ground pool, borrow one of our guest bicycles or enjoy a cocktail on the large front porch or in the garden gazebo. Open all year, we are centrally located 1 mile from Saratoga's historic downtown, farmer's markets, famed horse racing tracks, bath houses, Skidmore College, the National Museum of Dance, the Gideon Putnam Conference Center, Saratoga Spa State Park and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

This is a classy B & B run by 2 very classy people, Tara and Jason. I was able to check in early (around noon) as Jason was available and my room was prepared for me. He gave me a quick tour, my room key and off to the track I went! :) The room was quaint and made me feel like I was home. The bed and many pillows made for a great night's sleep. In the morning, breakfast served by Tara and her daughter was plentiful and delicious. I will definitely be staying here again and recommend the Geyser Lodge to my family and friends

Spacious, quiet room on the second floor in a converted inn decorated with period furniture and art, set back from the main road 1.5 miles from SPAC entrance. Hosts were prompt about answering emails in advance of the visit. Modest-sized breakfasts with two entree options, cooked to order within a 2-hour window each morning, were not the over-the-top extravaganzas of some B&B's. Fresh-cut fruit on each table. Keurig and small chocolates available 24/7 in a common area. Mini-fridge in guest room. Our room had a well-appointed bathroom of good size, albeit towels were starting to show their age, and "glasses" were two teensy paper cups, which were cleaned away on the second day and not replaced! The only other feature we found curious is that there are games and puzzles available in the sitting room, but no surface on which to play them, and the room is so poorly lit we would not have been able to see puzzle or game pieces in any event! Carpet in several portions of the establishment could use replacing. Parking area was off-street, and better set up than some others we have experienced. Overall, a fine experience with very nice hosts. We hope to return when there is another concert at that venue.

Clean and comfy for overnight stay. The room we booked had bathroom along corridor, which meant going past 2 other guestrooms. This was fine then, being the only guests , but not sure how it would have been if other rooms had been occupied - dressing gowns were available to use, ( room choice was down to us, not reading carefully ?) The house is on a main road, but we were not aware of traffic noise. Great breakfast in the morning, hostess friendly & welcoming on arrival.

We stayed at the Geyser lodge B&B prior to dropping our young adult at college. We chose the B&B because it had affordable rooms and in particular a separate room/bed for our 18-year old without us having to purchase multiple hotel rooms. We had the Columbia Suite which had king in one room and a queen in the other for our teen and we shared a full bath. This arrangement worked perfectly for us since we wanted to spend out last evening together but we all wanted our own space for sleeping. The hosts are very welcoming, the house was clean and the beds very comfortable for sleeping. Tara makes a good breakfast, the omelette had very nice flavors, there was also plenty of coffee. The pool looked very nice but we had forgotten our swimwear so didn't make it in. Updates to things like carpet and fixtures would put this B&B into a much more solid 4 to 5 type rating. But it was generally a quiet and comfortable stay and we would stay there again.
