Positives: Location, Rooms clean, parking, breakfast is good and good service Negatives: NO ROOM SERVICE 3 NIGHTS, came back from track first night nothing done, went down asked for towels, nothing for an hour called again we had to go out for dinner, they left towels in the room when we got back. too late, no coffee refills, not a thing done for rooms service. Outdoor Area fire pit seating, never turned-on fire pit and at 10 pm they make everyone come in and close the area when i asked they said to keep noise down??? so bring everyone into the hotel there was no noise just people enjoying the area, why have the area in the first place? Shuttle Service JOKE went to dinner with 6 people they drop in area and don't take you to where you want to go why not accommodate the guests and take them to where they want to go? Front end women strange / awkward had guests from MS and AL and she proceeded to say they speak funny really you got to be kidding me. Called Matthew Wilde left message no call back, called again today said he is busy REALLY, call customer care Hilton and went over my concerns. I don't post things, but this place drops the ball and at $1569 for 3 nights it is not worth it. I usually stay at the Holiday INN just up the road older hotel, but they get customer service Very Disappointed with what has all the things going for us but they just don't get it…
We stayed here for 4 nights to attend our daughter's college graduation. Given that we were just vaccinated and we weren't sure about others, this was an excellent choice. We were able to cook meals in our room when we weren't able to get an outdoor reservation. Things we loved. Our room had a large balcony with furniture, overlooking the interior courtyard. It was like an outdoor room and we didn't feel crowded at all with four of us there. We didn't think they would have breakfast but they did and the covid protocols were excellent. The whole builiding looks relatively new and was very clean. There were some gas grills for guests to use in a nice pavilion. We did a cook out one night. There was a fire pit in the pavilion as well. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy so you were not cramped in your room. What we didn't like. It is a bit far from the center of town.…
Recently stayed at homewood suites hotel for a trip to the races, they were very friendly at the hotel, alittle way from downtown but a very easy drive in. breakfast provided was fresh and a very good varity. Also provided a free shuttle to the races drop offed at a great location. would definitely stay there again.
Across from the state park. Shuttle to downtown or the races. Welcoming staff. Comfortable suites, pool, hot tub, courtyard, even small basketball court. Will definitely return. Had a wonderful meal at Scallions with dessert a few blocks away at Ben & Jerry’s.
First the good. The hotel is modern and the rooms are large, spacious and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. The complimentary hot breakfast is is good. Full refrigerator. We did not use them but the gym and pool looked to be in excellent condition. Good courtyard outdoor area for hanging out. Parking was plentiful and easy. Really the only complaint is that for $450/night average ($509 on weekends) I think guests deserve daily maid service, soap, shampoo and toilet paper replenishment (without having to ask), garbage pails emptied, beds made, carpet vacuumed, etc. Apparently, that occurs only once for a 5 night stay. I did say we paid $450/night on average didn't I? If we wanted sheets changed then at $450 a night we should not have been offered sheets so that we could change the beds ourselves. I know it started years back with limited towel laundering except by request. And, for sure, Covid changed things a bit industry-wide, but don't tell me about staff shortages. I think the industry is now taking advantage and charging higher prices, but now they have the excuse not to pay for staffing. If guests are paying $450/night on average then the hotel should pay more for staff so that basic hotel services are supplied. I also think room cleaning policies need to be prominently posted on Trip Advisor and other booking sites.…
Rosanna is a RockStar! Homewood Suites is now my new home to store my winnings. It was a wonderful stay and very comfortable. Rosanna was definitely the best and made my stay with how upbeat and helpful she was. Thank you!
Great location, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The property was clean and comfortable. The Shuttle service to the race track was great. The Breakfast buffet had a nice variety. An easy drive to Lake George Village. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed this past weekend while visiting saratoga to go rafting. This hotel is great. Extremely clean and very helpful staff. Only a short drive away from downtown but far enough way to enjoy some peace and quiet. The rooms are large and clean and the breakfast is really good. i would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area
Large hotel, maintained well, large rooms, full kitchen. Breakfast buffet included (eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc.). Dog friendly. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because they charge a $75 fee for having a dog for one night. That is more than any other hotel I have stayed at. Also, they don’t give you anything for your dog. Typically, if there’s a pet fee, the hotel will give you a water bowl, dog treat, etc.
Highly recommended for your stay in this picture perfect small city. A newer hotel at the south end of town, across the road from the state park. Attentive front desk staff always with a smile. One of the better breakfast selections both hot and cold. Coffee and tea all day long is much appreciated. The grounds are spacious and so much greenery. Dog friendly too. We are already planning our next visit to The Spa City, Saratoga Springs.
