- G G11 contributionsGreat Place with Great OwnersWe stayed at the SaraPlacid Inn & Suites this past weekend for the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival and we would highly recommend it. Located close enough to town that it's an easy walk but just far enough not to pose a problem with traffic during the carnival, this inn's best feature, beyond it's beautiful surroundings, are its new owners. They were kind enough to let us check in early so we'd have a place to park (a local informed us that trying to park in the village during the carnival would be a waste of time, if we could even make it past the traffic). The price was reasonable for such a busy weekend. With their gazebo on the lake, an interesting idea that I hope they'll consider down the road is mini-elopement packages. The location is ideal for something like that. Well done!We thank you very much for choosing the Sara Placid Inn and Suites for you stay while here enjoying the Winter Carnival. As you said we are a comfortable walking distance to downtown Saranac Lake and many more venues and amenities, our location is perfectly nestled between McKenzie Pond and Lake Flower with wonderful views all year round from the Gazebo, and the idea of the mini-elopement packages is something we have considered, there may be more to come on that subject in the future so keep in touch. - Kristen B1 contributionGreat hosts! Clean, updated and affordable accommodations!We needed a place to stay with very little notice. This quaint inn on Lake Flower has a great location and the owners are incredibly nice. Across the street from the lake, tennis courts and local marina where you can rent boats. Short walk to the Village of Saranac Lake and just 5 miles or so to Lake Placid. This was a lovely stay. It's a drive up situation which is great and convenient. I like using a code on a keypad to enter the room, no keys to worry about! The room was spacious and included a cozy two person table, lots of shelf room, counter space, a microwave, mini fridge, and keurig coffee maker with a variety of caffeinated pods (also a decaf). The bathroom was clean. I took a bath and it was really nice. The area is so quiet and the view outside your door is beautiful. Lake Flower is gorgeous and just across the road. It's a long but do-able walk to all the downtown shops. I loved this stay and will definitely choose the Sara Placid Inn again next time I visit.

We stayed in a king jacuzzi suite and it was awesome. Clean and big. The most amazing pillows, bedding, and bed. The jacuzzi tub was clean and oh so comfy. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Very clean, great location, and amazing customer service. Would definitely recommend and if needed would stay again! I stayed in one of the larger rooms for 5 nights and was always impressed. And SaraPlacid has the best price in Saranac Lake!

Very nice inn. Stopped by after a long day hiking. Jacuzzi suite was the only thing available, and it was great! Comfy bed, tea/coffee, and front desk was super nice! Backyard was big and they had kayaks to borrow for the pond next door.

It was a very affordable hotel, given the area it is in. It has everything you could want in a room. The bed was very comfortable! Super easy to check in, and plenty of parking right in front of your room. I highly recomend!

The room I booked had been damaged by the previous occupant. It wasn’t useable. So the manager found me alternate accommodation for a night then got the room up to par so I could finish the remaining days in the room I wanted. She went above and beyond

They were super inviting! Anytime we had an interaction with any staff so pleasant! Always super excited to see our puppers! The paper bowls for our pooch were the perfect added touch! We arrived a little early (this was an emergency second option as we were rained put from camping) as we got out of the car to walk the dog, they greeted us, then him so happily, and let us go in early as the room was complete! It was so quiet and clean and comfortable. We had no issues while staying!

Lovely place near restaurants in front of the lake flower. Nice and clean. Staff is always ready to help if we need information. Not far from lake placid. We have really enjoy our time there. Gonna go there again next time if it's available.

Lovely little row of apartments situated off the road into Saranac. Opposite is a small lake and over the road is Saranac Lake itself. Room was great with a comfortable bed and fridge and microwave. A short walk takes you into Saranac itself with a small number of shops and eateries. It is a beautiful place and the SaraPlacid makes it even better.
