I've been visiting Washington County for almost 15 years. Laura Coldwell, Bunker Hill Inn's owner, is a friend of several dear friends of mine, but I've never met her until this past weekend because normally I stay with one of my friends. This visit he was out of town, so Laura was able to accommodate my husband and me. She...

I've stayed three times now, and each time was a special pleasure. The inn is an old farmhouse, modernized, well-kept, but retaining the charm of former days. Laura, the proprietor, grew up in the house and is genial, attentive and cooks up a fabulous country breakfast. Stay here and you'll feel you're staying in the Salem community itself. Laura knows...

Clean rooms, hot shower water, excellent food, and beautiful surroundings make the Bunker Hill Inn everything a B&B should be. Laura, the innkeeper, is a delightful blend of affable, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about the surroundings and history of the area. She serves wholesome farm food, and has an amazing touch with a waffle. My husband & I spent quite...

This our second stay at the Bunker Hill Inn. We enjoyed sitting on the side porch watching the chickens and listening to the crickets. Breakfast was delicious. A different entree all three mornings we were there!

We have been to this B&B eight or nine times now. Does that say anything? We enjoy the rural setting, warm welcome and yummy breakfasts. Just a half hour from Saratoga and the races. Also several quaint towns close by to explore. A good place to relax and unwind.

On a recent trip to upstate New York (Cambridge area to visit friends); I stayed at The Bunker Hill Inn in Salem. I was very lucky to find availability this time of year. The Inn owner, Laura, is a lovely hostess. My room was the king room with a full bath. All rooms are well appointed. The Inn is located...

I was here in August with my elderly parents and my twin boys and we loved it. Laura is a very charming host and makes you feel right at home. This part of NYS is very beautiful with rolling hills and open pastures, and plenty of dairy farms. On the high points of the area you can catch glimpses of...

Beautiful, old farmhouse in a rural setting. Rooms are very well kept & cared for. Breakfasts each morning included homegrown and homemade items and were excellent, varied and filling. Laura, the owner, besides being extremely friendly went out of her way to pay attention to all dietary needs. The "Tea in Bed" option each morning was a pleasant way to...

Bunker Hill Inn is a delightful country Inn located in the rolling hills of Washington County in Upstate NY! This is a converted old farmhouse lovingly maintained by the Innkeeper, Laura Coldwell, who grew up in that Homestead and still resides there today. There is a lovely side porch overlooking the beautiful garden area and it was the perfect place...

Went up to Salem for a wedding. This was the first time my wife and I had ever stayed in a bed and breakfast, so we did not know what to expect. Admittedly, we were a bit apprehensive about the whole idea of staying in a stranger's home. I have to say, the bar has been set pretty high now....
