    Short Hamptons Vacation
We enjoyed our stay at BC very much. The front desk was friendly and helpful. We were greeted with champagne on check in which is a nice touch. The view of the marina was great from the front porch of the hotel. The pool area was well attended by friendly and helpful staff. The gym was fine and free yoga was given every am. We had breakfast at the hotel which was very good and reasonably priced. We also enjoyed drinks before dinner on the patio overlooking the marina. Beach passes were provided as well as a shuttle. The town is a short walk away for dinner and shopping. Rooms were good sized and bathrooms well appointed. Nespresso machines were in rooms. What more do you need? Nice stay for a short vacation and nice job by BC staff.
Dear Craig f, Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review on your recent stay at Baron's Cove. Our entire team sends a special thank you. They were happy to be of service! We hope to welcome you back soon! Kind regards, Jose Lema General Manager

    Safe Stay in Sag Harbor
After a summer of COVID and social distancing, my husband and I were looking forward to a change of scenery and a close getaway - Sag Harbor fit the bill. Prior to arrival I had contacted the front desk about their COVID policies and protocols and they filled in the blanks of what was not noted on their website. I requested no pillows and duvets on the beds, since we would supply our own. When we arrived the room was just as requested and I advised we would not need housekeeping to come in. Chambermaids were available throughout the day to supply any toiletries or towels requested. The staff was wearing masks, as well as most of the guests( it was required but some guests were lax about this around the pool). The room was very nice, clean and the staff was accommodating. Since it is close to town, you don't need a car for most restaurants. Location, staff and the quality of the resort, make it a very desirable repeat destination.
Dear berkshiretraveler53: Thank you very much for submitting a review on TripAdvisor. We appreciate the thorough details of your experience and delighted to know that you were satisfied with the Covid protocols and procedures. We remain very focused on ensuring that our guests and staff enjoy a safe environment while here by upkeeping high standards of cleanliness and safety. We look forward to welcoming you back to Baron's Cove in the future. Best regards, Mario Arakelian General Manager

    Sunset in the Hamptons
Baron's Cove provides a great setting and location. It is just enough outside of town to feel the privacy and quietness you want when away, and yet provide an easy stroll right into town and the local marinas. We have now visited a couple of times. the pool facing rooms and suites are the way to go. Though all rooms are finished very nicely these room offer tons of light and great views. the staff is phenomenal! from poolside with Tatiana leading the charge to Stephanie at the font desk and Pasquale as concierge taking care of anything you might need in and around the hotel. Mario, the manager is ever present, making every guest feel as if there staying in his home. The food is excellent the restaurant setting is as nice as it gets. overall a great place that is worth the price (well, almost :) - gets a little too expensive for those late August weekends)
Dear Robert0601: Thank you so much for this wonderful review, I can’t begin to tell you how proud this makes us feel! We appreciate you sharing so much of your experience in detail, your words are very heart-warming. You mention so many aspects of your stay and the team will be very happy to hear how the small touches and personalized staff interactions made it so memorable for you. We look forward to welcoming you back to Baron's Cove in the future. Best regards, Mario Arakelian General Manager

First time visiting the Hamptons in many years. This property is conveniently situated to downstream sag harbor with lovely shops and dining. I did upgrade the room to one with private patio and pool adjacent. This made a big difference in comfort during our stay. They also have a gorgeous sister property, The Pridwin, on Shelter Island which guests are welcome to enjoy as well. Usually there is a free boat shuttle to the Pridwin, though sadly not running the days of our stay. The food at the restaurant is very good with an ample selection of choices. The staff..especially Kristen at the front desk, were very welcoming, warm and helpful!! Really enjoyed our time here!!

We booked Baron’s Cove after reading reviews for our trip to the Hampton. The family really wanted to go Kayaking. After an initial hiccup the management at Baron’s Cove and the Pridwin were able to accommodate. They were super gracious and made our trip memorable. The facilities and people were great.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Baron’s Cove recently and had a wonderful experience there. The property is well maintained, the staff were friendly, warm and welcoming and the location is perfect for walking around town. Our favorite part of the trip was taking the boat over to The Pridwin. The staff at both hotels treated us like gold. The scene at the Pridwin is very cool and worth the trip. We’ll definitely be back!

When we arrived we were greeted by a very unfriendly receptionist who looked so unwelcoming, and we were surprised to find that the view of the Harbor included a large ugly road bridge. The breakfast service was painfully slow, and at night we could hear people walking around and flushing the toilet in the room above us. Having said all that, it is s charming hotel and it’s in a great location and the rooms were comfortable and we had s great time.

Spent 2 nights at Baron's Cove. The location and view are fantastic. The room was large and comfortable. Direct access to the pool was great. Staff were great and accommodating. The private patio just out front of our room was great for morning breakfast and drinks. The furnishings and aircon are dated and in need of an upgrade. The sound proofing in the hotel is not great.....banging from room above, toilets flushing, showers....we heard it all. Would recommend an upper floor room if you are staying here.

Dear Spincentury, We are grateful for your kind words and also the constructive feedback you have shared. We consistently work on ways to further improve our property and, although we did extensive sound insulation work in 2022, we are revisiting this detail as part of our property enhancing projects which take place in January, during our brief closure before re-opening in February. We most certainly understand how impactful noise can be on your experience. We we would love to accommodate a room on the second floor on your next visit. We look forward to welcoming you back to Baron's Cove on your next trip to Sag Harbor. Kind Regards, Jose Lema General Manager

Baron’s Cove management should be absolutely ashamed of how they treat potential customers and guests. My father booked a room less than four weeks ago for a short stay and then 19 days before his visit he had a freak accident, broke his femur and part of his hip. While anyone can understand rules of a cancellation policy and we certainly do, Barons Cove refused to offer us the ability to cancel because we were not 21 days (we were 19) outside of his stay despite the ample time they would still have to fill the room. It is truly unkind and shows zero empathy. I definitely wouldn’t want to have any kind of issue there with such unflexible and unkind management team. These are not the type of people I look for in the service industry. All potential customers should be aware and think carefully before booking anything here. I highly doubt they could have anything other than horrific service and treatment of guests. My travel agent warned me they were riding and I didn’t take it seriously.. she will never work with them… gross!

Dear B9172AMandreat, I certainly understand that the first impression you received while attempting to cancel your booking was not in tune with the level of service we pride ourselves in offering our guests. I do believe there was a slight misunderstanding as your reservation for August was still active and had been escalated for review. I hope that your father is doing well and feeling better by the day. I am sure your father will enjoy Baron’s Cove at a time which works better for him. We look forward to hearing from you again in the future and, in the interim, remain at your service. Kind Regards, Jose Lema General Manager

EXCELLENT service, comfortable beds, a pool with very nice pool attendants and drink service, a cozy bar with live music in the evenings, good food, a nice patio with fire pits, bicycles, beach passes, chairs and umbrellas, and an amazing boat ride to their sister property on Shelter Island - they've thought of everything. It was a great experience and a wonderful relaxing stay. Can't wait to go back.

THIS WAS MY SECOND YEAR STAYING AT BARON'S COVE AND IT WAS EVEN BETTER THAN LAST YEAR! AMAZING TO FIND A PLACE IN THE HAMPTONS WITH CASUAL ELEGANCE, A CLASSY CLIENTELE AND A STAFF THAT COULD NOT DO ENOUGH FOR YOU.I WANT TO SINGLE OUT KIRSTEN AT THE FRONT DESK, RICK AT THE RESTAURANT AND FINN AT THE POOL FOR GOING OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE THINGS COMFORTABLE FOR ME. I HAD GREAT WEATHER AND RELAXED BY THE POOL EACH DAY, ATE OUTDOORS,LISTENED TO MUSIC AND SAW THE FIREWORKS. A GREAT PLACE TO DE-STRESS!

The hotel was lovely. its in a perfect location to get around easily in Sag Harbor and drive to other venues. my room was a harbor view and very comfortable. clean and well taken care of. i had breakfast my last morning in the beautiful dining room and it was delicious. the only downside for me was there was no place to sit with my laptop to work inside so i had to sit outside at the patio picnic table to work and with no outlet so thankfully i had battery power. the rooms also need USB ports for all our plug ins.
