We had a nice weekend stay. It was nice being in the county and so close to the lake with a great view. The location was close to wineries and not far to restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic with a beautiful table setting. Phil gave us an interesting run down of the history of the house. Would like to experience a Yurt the next time.
My wife and I really enjoyed staying in the yurt. This was our first time and I enjoyed it much better than a hotel room. I would recommend Yale Manor yurts to all. The location was great and the little touches like banana bread and other food items were much appreciated. I enjoyed my morning coffee and bagel.
We had never stayed in a yurt, and didn't really know what to expect. We had seen one in a state park several years ago , but this was nothing like that. This was amazing! It was somehow roomy and cozy at the same time, kind of a mix between a tent, a cabin and a fancy hotel room. It was close to nature, with a great view of Seneca Lake and just a short trip to the boat house on the shore which we could use. There were 2 chairs and a fire pit outside our yurt, and a grill to be shared by the 4 yurts. Yet the inside was beautiful with high-end amenities like a king size bed with luxury linens, a full bath with plush towels, a gas fireplace and smart TV. There was also a small kitchenette--no stove, but a microwave, toaster oven, Keurig and small fridge. Glasses, plates, silverware, etc. were there for our use. And the fridge was stocked with coffee, juice and milk, eggs, bagels, fruit, and small pastries. We were very impressed by the thoughtful touches. Also, we are big winery fans, and this was a great location to visit wineries, some within a few minutes drive. We stayed 2 nights and it was wonderful. I would definitely come back.…
We stayed at the Yale Manor for two nights. Both the hosts, Katherine and Phil were wonderful. They accommodated an extremely late check in. The breakfast they served us was phenomenal. The property is a peaceful place to spend your weekend. It has a vintage charm. Our room had a window that gave us a view of the sunrise over the horizon! The night sky is gorgeous to look at while sitting next to the fire pit. We plan on going back here again next year.
Our first travel experience in a yurt and it was wonderful. A very fun getaway in an unusual accommodation. Contactless checkin & very safe environment. Seneca Lake location is just so beautiful. Katherine & Phil were very attentive, personable hosts and provided thoughtful touches to make the yurt very homey & comfortable. Thank you!
