This place was so much fun: sun, surf, hammocks swing on the deck of your own private platform safari- tent. The New York skyline on one side and the beach on the other- it feels like you’re on a tropical island. I loved roasting marshmallows around the fire pit and going to sleep to the sound of the surf, in a bed with crisp sheets and cute solar powered lanterns. The hosts: Sophie, Wade & Kent were always on hand to answer questions and make us comfortable. The morning swims were great and there were concessions right next door offering good food. I recommend the coffee & bagels in the morning - smoothies for lunch & crab cakes for dinner. And a long solar shower designed and built by the owner/architect of this unique bohemian hotel.
