We stayed in one of the large, impeccably appointed cabins at the resort and loved the combination of modern amenities and country quiet. John takes incredible care of the resort, which has a game room, well-kept pool and a fishing pond. He and his staff are helpful and pleasant and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Whether you are a baseball... More

We have stayed here numerous times while visiting family in the area. Owner John is extremely attentive and tries his best to accommodate any special requests. Cottages and townhouses, while vintage in furnishings, are very, very clean! Walking the grounds is peaceful and picturesque. There are many options for outdoor activities - bbq, pool, pond, basketball court, etc. Internet may... More

This is a simple place, but the owner, John, has refurbished some of the cottages, including the one we stayed at. There is no wifi on the premises, in spite of various promises to get it. The views and the farm country are as splendid as ever. This is a wonderful place.

My family and my sons baseball team stayed at this farm while they played baseball in All Star village in Cooperstown. We chose this farm because it could accommodate the entire team and we really enjoyed our stay. Some of us had cabins, which I did, and some stayed in the town houses. Cabins and rooms were well stocked with... More

Nice and relaxing but nothing to get excited about. Resort is made up of a variety of townhouses and cabins. We stayed in cabin 6 which had an unbelievable view from the front porch. The rooms are very small, but the kitchen and living room are pretty spacious. The bathroom was of average size, Pool - extremely cold Pond -... More

We have stayed in Fieldstone every year that we have been to the Glimmerglass Opera, which is most of the last ten years. The resort has rooms and cottages, and we usually rent a one or two-bedroom cottage, depending on how many people we have. The resort takes pets, which is unusual for the Cooperstown area, and the local fields... More

Sometimes you just need a break from the fast-paced technology-driven world, and Fieldstone Farm is just the place to get away from it all. It is beautiful and peaceful there, and John is a charming and gracious host. We held a large family reunion there, and everyone had a fabulous time! Highly, highly recommended if you want to unwind and... More

What a great family getaway. We have been coming here since our son was 11. Now we come also with our granddaughter who is 5 and has come since she was 1. Every summer she starts asking when are we going to the farm. It's laid back, relaxing and a great place to unwind. But it is situated close to... More

We have been coming here for many, many years. The grounds are well kept and the cabins are clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for the kids to run and play. More expensive than a motel room, but you get a full kitchen that saves you money on eating out. The best part is all of the open fields and... More

Our sons played at Cooperstown Dreamspark and several of the families stay at Fieldstone. It is "rustic", simple, a little outdated but very clean and met all of our basic needs. The owner was great and very helpful. The townhouses did not have wifi or cell reception but the cottages did. Even though It was nice to "unplug" it was... More
