We spent 2 nights at this charming Rhinebeck treasure as a mid-week spring getaway. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope we can return soon! The inn was beautiful and had charm, history and amenities that took us back to the 1700's when it was built and still had the modern conveniences that made for a comfortable visit....

The Old Rhinebeck Inn is exactly what one hopes to find when searching for the perfect B and B. The house is warm and welcoming. The rooms are delightful and appointed with every need in mind. The breakfasts are sublime and innovative. The location is stunning, quiet and convenient. And above all else, the Innkeeper is the definition of hospitable....

Julie, you are a dear. Becoming friends with guests seems to be a real side effect of my career choice. How lucky am I? Now with your daughter a freshman here at Bard, I look forward to many more fun visits in our future. Actually, I will see you back here in just a few days, pack your snow boots,...

My wife and I were attending a wedding in the area and being it was our 6th wedding anniversary, we chose this small hideout. The property is beautiful and easy to find and is dripping with charm and authenticity. Based on an original Dutch farmhouse dating back to 1730, the house is full of quirks and eccentricities. Yet our room...

Had a lovely two-night stay with another couple. We had booked a downstairs room, and our friends booked upstairs, but we received a complimentary upgrade to the larger room upstairs so we were near our friends. There are only four rooms in this charming, intimate, historic inn, two upstairs and two down. The furnishings are quaint and elegant, yet comfortable...

Great spot for a quite, romantic getaway. Beautiful location, great nearby restaurants and places to explore. Host are friendly, but discreet. Breakfast is delicious made with locally grown ingredients. I particularly liked that they had two stations where I could make myself tea or coffee at night, without having to disturb anyone. I also enjoyed playing the grand piano.

We understand time together is precious these days, glad you enjoyed your recent quiet, romantic getaway ( and much needed sleeping in time). We love when our guests share their talent and play the piano. Enjoy your summer, Cindy, Keeper of the Inn

Spent 3 days exploring the "upper" Hudson River Valley. This was an ideal location and a great place to stay. It is an old Colonial house so be prepared for the charm ( in our view ) of some low doorways, uneven lines and some creaky floors. The amenities and bedding and room size was way more than adequate, the breakfasts...

Yes, we love to share our "charming" original details with guests, wide plank wood floors, buttermilk paint, especially fond of the axe handle stair railing in the dining area. Many thanks for your recommendation and kind words. Hope to host you again soon, Cindy, Keeper of the Inn

The Olde Rhinebeck Inn is the platonic ideal of country inns and bed and breakfasts. The landscape is magnificent rolling green lawn with a pond, sitting chairs in the most bucolic tranquil setting. The building is historically significant and exceptionally enchanting. The bedroom we stayed in was personified elegance balanced with a homey warm style (just look at the pictures)...

No breakfast but we brought muffins and fruit and there was full kitchen and toaster etc. We checked in got keys and the place is remote off...

It's hard to describe how wonderfully peaceful place this is to stay. Innkeepers, Jonna and Cindy are even more welcoming than the Inn itself. You will not only have a warm and charming place to stay, but you will also wake up to an amazing breakfast and meet interesting people. If you need a place to relax and find peace...

Thank you Barbara, I'm glad you were able to have a restorative getaway with your sister. And that an early morning walk to the cemetery down the road offered you an opportunity for peaceful reflection. It was a great group for breakfast, which is usually the case sound here, good people coming together to share stories over some good food....

Beautiful place!! very clean, recommend to stay in town for at least 2 days give it time to explore. Rooms are huge and so homey/romantic. The owners are very accommodating. Food is excellent! Vineyards are around the area, they have a small town/market place for shopping and eating.
