Detailed Reviews
This is a beautiful B&B in two historical joined houses that have been lovingly restored and upgraded to provide five beautiful guest rooms. The garden is exquisite, and every morning we enjoyed breakfast by the pool. The owners were very helpful and forthcoming.
We chose this place for a visit to Saratoga Springs, but we found that being a little outside the town was actually much nicer. This way we also discovered the town of Lake George and the quaint Glen Falls.
For anyone who wants to stay outside the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect place.

+1
This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast. The Country House is definitely a gem. The place is very clean and super quaint with that feel for the past that makes you feel right at home. We stayed on the first floor in the more romantic room with the four post bed and fireplace. The room is just the right size with the right amount of light to give you a very romantic and old fashion feel. The grounds are well maintained and they have a pool. They have 2 common areas that have that true old fashion feel to them. They are located less than 10 minutes from all kinds of shopping, outlets and malls. Theres plenty of food nearby also and if your looking for a delicious and hearty breakfast tou have to check out The Silo you will not leave hungry. Lake George is also about 15 minutes away and there is plenty there. This was a great experience and we look forward to coming back. Thank you Countty House for your hospitality.

If you value and appreciate elegant restorations of 18th century residences, manicured private grounds, quality bedding, ample delicious breakfasts and gracious, accommodating hosts, then the Country House in Queensbury, NY is the B&B where you should stay. Conveniently located to Glens Falls, Saratoga Springs and Lake George it is comfortably elegant and made our weekend stay a most memorable one!

Well kept grounds and rooms make one feel they are staying at a friend's getaway home. Pool area is very nice for some down time. Breakfast delivered every morning outside your room on a tray that allows one to eat in sitting rooms or outside. 15 minutes drive to many attractions Highly recommended

We only stayed one night as we were in the area for a family wedding, but this is a very lovely B&B....room was beautifully decorated, high end toiletries (everything one might need), spotless with thick towels in bathroom. Quiet & peaceful. Loved the chocolate chip cookies and iced tea when we got home. Room darkening shades let us sleep in a bit. We were in Room 2 with nice closet space if this was needed for a longer stay, and small freezer/frig combination. Bed was most comfortable with nice linens and pillows. The grounds are impeccably cared for, and the outdoor pool, surrounded by many flower beds, just beautiful....we were sad that we did not have time to use it.Breakfast left outside our door was perfect - creamy French yogurt, fresh blueberries, and lemon tea cake. Not sure what the "coffee" was - it was hot, but not what we are accustomed to...but, a small issue in the grand scheme of things. We will definitely return for a longer visit.

Recently visited the Country House an had a great stay. Everything was beautiful and the pool was amazing! The location was great and very close to Lake George. Just about a 10-15 minutes away. Our room was clean and comfortable. Complimentary water and fruit was available throughout our stay which was a nice touch. One negative was that were no tissues, but they did provide a few extra rolls of toilet paper. We were also surprised that the breakfast was just a gluten free muffin. We've stayed at many bed and breakfasts and are used to a bigger breakfast with eggs or other options. That was the only thing that was a little disappointing. It would have been okay if we knew ahead of time the breakfast would be so lite so we could have planned ahead. Other than that we had a very enjoyable stay.

We were scheduled for another B & B, which had to cancel on us, and at the last minute we found the Country House. We were delighted with the gracious and friendly hospitality, and the very classy and elegant accommodations. Brittany and Megan were very attentive to our wishes and needs, and provided a delightful overnight stay for us. We happened to be the only guests that night, and had the pleasure of staying in the 1st floor guest room with the gas fireplace, a really nice touch! Breakfast was wonderful with pure Vermont maple syrup on our choice of pancakes or French toast sticks, big luscious blueberries, orange juice, and coffee (and of course other choices available)! We could have certainly enjoyed more time at this lovely B & B. Our perception of possible minuses were remote location, temperature control, a bit overcrowded room, and perhaps slightly pricey (especially with the $25 early check in fee). However those things were, in our consideration, minor in comparison to all the positives. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone to spend a night or three at this fine B & B!

A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I stayed at this bed and breakfast. We booked it last minute as everything else in the area had no rooms available.
It was more than we wanted to pay, but once we saw the beautiful property, luxurious room including an enormous bed, fancy complimentary toiletries and big, fluffy towels we had a better understanding of the high price.
The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast the next morning was delicious. They had several gluten-free options on the breakfast menu.
The only less-than-positive thing I need to mention is that for the price we paid there should have been fresh coffee and not instant coffee.
If I had to guess, the owners are vegans that do not drink coffee. I can live with tofu for breakfast, but not instant coffee. A French press for a fresh cup of coffee is not a big investment.
