Even though we caught heavy rain for a couple days we enjoyed the resort. The sunset on the beach was beautiful and the camp amenities were excellent. The people running the camp were very friendly and the campgrounds were quiet at night. Overall it was a good time.
Well kept park. Friendly staff, clean and tons of activities. Love all the "special" weekends like Christmas and Halloween! The lake is beautiful and the sunsets are breathtaking! Inflatable slides and games for the kids, bands just about every weekend, themed weekends and activities!
Overall a great place to relax with beach, Forrest and grassy spots. Bring a cell booster and don’t count on wi-fi though. The atmosphere is great with pools and playground. Bring a bike too if you have one, the place is huge!
A great place to camp and enjoy northern NY. Trailer site was clean and large. It was a busy weekend, but we had no problem sleeping and enjoying our campfire. Safety patrols cruised by in the evening and throughout the day. Service was pleasant and quick.
The campground has good amenities, 2 restaurants onsite, store, multiple pools, arcade, laundry, etc. Sites were average to small in size, but we were there to hang at our site - we actually didn’t have a single fire! Location is great, and the beach on Lake Ontario was awesome, great sunset views. Pools are older and need some updating, the main courtyard is dated for sure but overall we were happy with the amenities.
This is a great Campground, beautiful spacious RV sites, great beach. We went late season so pool/hot tub was not open (they should ad to FAQs when it opens and closes. Super clean bathrooms for campers. only suggestion: They should provide you with a list of local good restaurants in the area.
Absolutely love Brennan Beach!!! 3 year staying here and the staff is always very nice and accommodating!! Sunsets are amazing and our cabin was beautiful and very clean!! The resort is very well maintained! Definitely will be back!!
The site is typical for most cheaper sites they pack as many campers in without taking in consideration lot space and being on top of your neighbor. If there barely was enough room for my truck and camper in the lot thank God the sites were not full or I would have had a hell of a time maneuver in my 36 ft 5th wheel. The paying for the Wi-Fi and the lack of trash options are just horrible. They could learn a lot from the villages at the turning stone since its the same price.
Brennan Beach has a few things going for it BUT more going against it ! IF you are a Thousand Trails member you will be stuck in a field area with full hookups , but having full hookups in a field is NOT a resort. There were other open sites in wooded areas but the staff basically lied to me and said they were booked , however , the entire time during our stay these "booked" sites remained empty ! Here as in other parks WHY MAKE RULES IF YOU DONT ENFORCE THEM ! ? ! ? Seasonals and locals travel at speed thru the park including workers (if your working and paid by the hour WHY are you racing thru the park). NO comfortable place to walk , no sidewalks , no trails (1 bike path) and walking along the roadside is unsafe here (my wife was nearly hit by a speeding golfcart) . There are some positives here tho , dont want to be all negative . . . the pavilion is great place once you safely make it there , the do have a shuttle service to their own private beach on Lake Ontario , there is a food cart at the beach . Still with these positives , we doubt we will return here in the forseeable future. I would not and will not recommend this place to anyone , even my worse enemy.…
Aces, Best of the Best! This beautifully maintained and operated campground far exceeded our expectations. We loved driving around the grounds in a golf cart, and were in awe at every campsite we passed.
