I recently got married on my grandparents farm, that happens to be down the road from the Maple Rock Bed and Breakfast. As soon as I walked in the door I knew it would be the perfect spot for my bride squad and us to stay in. We felt right at home, and the view from the common space was beautiful. Everything Audrey made us was delicious. She even created a mimosa bar and some fantastic snacks for us while we were getting ready for the wedding. She was very welcoming and allowed us to use the space in any way we needed. My entire squad loved the place, and it was so nice to have a place where we could all be together.
We had a great night away celebrating our anniversary! Thanks to Maple Rock B&B for a relaxing time filled with yummy treats and an amazing breakfast! The grounds are well kept and the house was immaculate. Audrey and Jake were great hosts!
This was my second time staying at The Maple Rock B&B . I can’t even begin to find all the words to describe how awesome my stay was . Audrey is an incredible hostess. I feel so relaxed and comfortable from the minute I arrive to the minute I leave . My Grand daughter joined me the last two days and her comments were “this place is beautiful “and “I feel safe , just like home .” I think that says it all . The breakfast is always unique and over the top .It is clean , comfortable, with homemade cookies every day and a beautiful deck and screened porch . The beds are very comfortable I sleep very well. It is near my family and provided me with a way to visit my elderly parents without the stress of infringing on their space . I love this B&B , Hands down, it is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed ! I am hoping to return soon with my daughter and two grand daughters for a girls get away !! Thank you Audrey and Jake for a lovely time ❤️…
I don't know if there is a competition for B&Bs, but if there is Maple Rock would easily take First Prize! My wife and I stayed 5 nights and had a great time! The accommodations are superior and the owners are wonderful! We really enjoyed getting to know co-owner, Audrey - a thoughtful, kind and caring host. If you are thinking of getting away to New York's north country and want to stay somewhere peaceful, clean and comfortable with beautiful views and gracious hosts look nowhere else than Maple Rock!
Very nice country setting, very nice people. The building itself is new; the building and grounds are clean and in good shape. I like to stay in B&B's because they don't make me feel trapped in a room. At Maple Rock, I could sit out on the lawn, on the deck, in the screened porch, and there are common sitting areas on both floors. Coffee and tea were available, and Audrey set out cookies for me (which I ate). Audrey was a wonderful host. I will stay here again the next time I'm in Potsdam, assuming that I can get a room.
