We spent 4 days at this campground and had plenty of fun activities to choose from. They have a swimming pool, inflatable water slides, Gaga ball pit and much more. Be aware there is a 1/2 mile of dirt road and wooded area to get to the front office, it’s a little intimidating driving in. We had a full hook up site that was spacious. My one complaint were the loud barking dogs around us, but that’s not the campground’s fault.

We discovered Adventure Bound Four Winds online when looking for a family friendly campground near Letchworth State Park. Location: Minutes from several entrances to Letchworth State Park. Campground is in a rural area and driving in on a two lane road lined on either side with fields of crops, then turning into the wooded entrance to the campground. Driving in you really feel as if you are getting away from it all. Check in is at the Campground Store. The store is full of any and every camping supply you could possibly ever need and snacks, drinks and treats aplenty. There are arcade games, a pool table, inexpensive painting crafts available for purchase, plenty of indoor picnic style tables, free movies to borrow, board games to play and even a library of books to borrow during your vacation. Campground Managers, Dennis & Marcie checked us in to the RV we rented onsite quickly and with a smile. We were given a list of the weekly themed activities and encouraged to stop by or call them with any questions. We rented a campground owned RV onsite. The RV had a bunk room in the back with four single bunk beds, a bathroom with shower and sink, dining booth, fridge, stove, sink and couch that pulled into a bed, a queen sized bed and very comfortable mattress. The RV has a porch, awning and our site had a fire pit and outdoor grill. RV was very clean. Basic kitchen tools are included, silverware, pots, pans, etc. Bring your own bedding for the RV. The Campground has tons of great activities to keep your kids entertained. Inflatable water slides, pool, rentable pedal cars, a creek for wading and pond for fishing. I recommend renting a golf cart from the campground. The golf cart makes it easy to explore and go from spot to spot. Bathhouses are located in the main areas of the campground and coin operated laundry facilities are available onsite as well. The location is just a short drive to all of the Letchworth State Park attractions. We enjoyed the campground and the area. The staff at the campground was first rate, we saw Dennis several times during the week riding around to see if anyone needed anything. We had a pretty good thunderstorm roll through one afternoon and Marcie and helpers entertained our kids in the campground store with painting rocks and crafts. We will definitely return to this place again.

We stayed for 6 nights in our RV to visit Letchworth State Park (so close!) and Niagara Falls (1.5 hours). The sites were nice and shady, the amenities fun for the kids, and the hosts so friendly. They opened the store after hours so I could have change to finish drying clothes and mailed me a craft our daughter made but left in the store! There was a lot of rain the week before we came and within days they had extra gravel dumped and spread to improve the roads and parking areas. Wish there was wifi for the long visit. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.

We stayed for 3 nights at Four Winds. It’s kinda hard to find your site in the upper area. There are marked on the electric boxes only. We had a water and electric site. Our grandchildren loved the little water slide, rock painting, and the pool. My suggestion to Adventure Bound would be to invest some money in the entrance and exit area. It’s pretty steep and if there had been a lot of rain, I could see it being an issue for some rigs to get up the exit driveway. If they put down crushed stone for traction, it would be a lot better. Overall, we had a great time.

We chose this campground because it was the only one we could find in the area that allowed late check in. We needed to stop around 10 pm on our road trip in this part of New York. Therefore, we didn't really know what to expect. I was happy with the customer service from the very beginning when I called asking about late check in. I spoke to them a few times on the phone after that, and they were always very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Since we arrived so late we obviously didn't talk to anyone until the morning, but when we were checking out the woman clearly remembered talking to me on the phone and was genuine in asking us how our ride went. I wish we could have spent more time there because it was a very nice, clean, friendly campground. It was also in a beautiful area that I wish I had a whole weekend to explore. Since we arrived so late it was quite dark and a bit frightening at first. We were pretty secluded, but again, that wouldn't have been an issue had we arrived during the day. The campground is quite out there and we felt like we'd never arrive down the long road. My only true complaint is the distance from the tent area to the bathrooms. They were convenient to the RVs, which already have bathrooms in them, but I was not comfortable walking to them alone in the dark, therefore I didn't have any water all night. It seems to definitely be catered more towards seasonal campers or RV campers, which of course isn't good or bad, just something to keep in mind. I think there should be a porta potty in the tent area at the very least. Overall, I think it was a great place, especially for campers with a longer stay or a nice RV. We were right by a little river and I slept so well listening to it flow. That is just a simple thing, but a clear highlight of the trip to me.
