Hotel's Favorite
We stayed here for NYE 2018-2019 weekend for my BILs wedding. We had a double bed room and it was very spacious, clean and modern. Overall the hotel was very nice. The restaurant on the morning of 12/30 was extremely overwhelmed with multiple guests for multiple weddings staying in the hotel. Service was backed up in the kitchen. I think the staff handled it well, but hopefully they can learn for this upcoming NYE that they need to have extra staff that day. My biggest complaint, which I did bring up at check out was that my BIL had paid for the bar to remain open after his wedding on Sunday night 12/30. Again, multiple weddings, many guests in the hotel - so the bar was obviously not restricted to just our wedding party. This wasn't the issue - the bartender was complete jerk. He wouldn't serve water - only offering a self serve water spigot from the other side of the room. He was also rude. The second night of our stay, 12/29, the bartender was extremely friendly and kept refilling our drinks and 12/30 felt like we were at an entirely different bar. I wouldn't recommend any future brides and grooms to pay for their bar to be open for your after party - plenty of other bars in town to give your business to. I think the hotel should've given my BIL his money back for how rude the bartender was and not serving wedding guests water and making us walk across the room for self service didn't even deserve the tips the wedding guests were giving the bartender.

Staff seems to genuinely care about the experience of their guests. Even thought its the only option in Roslyn area, they don't act like and in fact, go out of their way to earn your business. It's the little things, like ordering Gluten Free bread because they know about my alergy.

Every thing was great. Good room, easy check in, easy parking, good breakfast buffet. All employees at front desk and in breakfast are very friendly and want to do the right thing. This was our second stay at this Hilton Garden Inn.

Hotel is very pretty, clean and rooms are nice, but the location is very isolated. If you don't have a car, you must use Uber for every meal unless you want to eat mediocre overpriced food at hotel restaurant. Hotel is 30 minute walk to beach, but no sidewalks for those of us who want to walk. Had mix up on pick up at train station. You must ask them details on where to meet the shuttle if you use it. I felt lilke I was help hostage by the location far from any shopping or dining.
