Holiday Dinner was excellent, and not rushed. Purchased overnight room stay througn groupon. The facility was quite and clean. The outside temps were cold, really cold, but the room heating units made the stay comfortable. Stayed in a two bed unit facing the water; long island sound. Scenes out to the distance were scenic. The buildings are old and not...

We did a long weekend on Long Island for my birthday (11/21 - 11/24) and stayed here. I found them on Groupon for $109 as opposed to over $200 without it. The hotel was decent but not worth $200 plus. The room was average except for a nice king bed and a great shower head. The bar was great as...

Awesome location being adjacent to the Bridgeport/PortJeff ferry. Our rooms, located across the street from the hotel, were clean (had reserved 3) and different sizes. One room needed attention-the shower door opened to the inside of the shower. The shower itself was good, but water found its way outside the door. Also an outlet was so loose that both the...

We held our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at one of two private event rooms. It was great having the event room for ourselves. The privacy from the main hotel building was incredible, and exactly what we were looking for. The staff was polite and very attentive to our needs and request. The menu was delicious, and they were able to accommodate...

Stayed here twice. Very nice king room, the new shower was great. Not a bad price for the size of the room. Easy to walk through town, no need to drive for dinner and drinks. Also close to a cute little theatre, fun to do. Also if your there on Sunday, they have a great all you could eat and...

Fantastic gem of a hotel. Very clean, great shower! Nice to have good water pressure. Wonderful service at the bar. Dinner was fantastic. Had the scallops and they were cooked perfectly. Barstaff were friendly. Breakfast was good- but dinner and the overall charm are the high points!

We recently held a convention for more than 100 people and the service, accommodations, food and location was fabulous. Huge kudos to sales, catering and the banquet chef! Attention to detail was amazing and it was, by far, the nicest and tastiest food displays I've had at any event I have planned in the last twenty years. The rooms are...

The hotel is in such a great location and it has no competition. So if you want the charm of the village you have to stay here. There is room for lots of improvement - dated and shabby buildings, rooms and decor. This is not a luxury hotel. However, it's nice and the bathrooms are updated. That's really good, too....

I recently stayed at Dandfords after visiting the wineries. It's great because it's not a two night minimum like most east end hotels, but it definitely was expensive for one night. The rooms are big, which is great, but it would have been just as good if they were half the size/price. The flip side is it's cheap to go...

My rehearsal dinner was recently held at Danford's Hotel and Marina and we could not be more pleased. Christine Weber was responsive and attentive in the planning process and ensured that all of our needs were met leading up to our event. On the night of, the Harborside room was setup beautifully, the waitstaff was excellent, and the food delicious!...
