My mom and I planned on traveling to NY from Allentown, PA for over a year to see the sights of Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Piermont and Nyack. I honestly couldn't have found a better place than this! The location of the B and B was situated perfectly. Easy for walking and driving. So inviting from the moment you pull up.... More

My boyfriend and I spent a super fun and relaxing wknd at Riverview in celebration of his birthday. Carolla is an extremely warm and helpful hostess and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and convenient. More specifically, she provided clear and easy directions for transiting to/from NYC (we opted for the Rockland Coaches bus -... More

Stayed one night in the Firehouse suite. What a great little apartment. If it were in NYC, it'd fetch @$4000 a month. Nice sitting area, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bedroom and nicely appointed bathroom. Definitely recommend for a longer stay. Carolla made us a tasty breakfast in the main living room which was so nicely decorated.

I stayed at the firehouse suite for a week and found it fabulous, Carolla (the owner/hostess) was very inviting and friendly. She took me on a couple tours of the area and included me on a few adventures. Had morning coffee's together with great conversations. The suite was just right for me, queen bed, kitchen with all amenities required, living... More

Very special location, beautiful environment, and lovely stay. We appreciated the hospitality and efforts of our hostess. The market across the street, wonderful coffee shop and restaurants in town kept us quite happy, and we didn't use the kitchen much. We had the two rooms downstairs. I could be happy with one, two, or all rooms in the house. The... More

I stayed in the firehouse suite. It was filled with charms as well as great views. You can walk to whatever you want! Town is abou a five min walk which runs along the Hudson River. You can rent canoos just down the road too. A small bridge just a house or two down had the towns history right on... More

This trip was excellent - my girlfriend and I took the Rockland Coach bus from Port Authority in Manhattan and in just a little over an hour and a half, we were in Piermont. The coach bus even stopped right at the B&B (we requested a stop) - it also picked us up from there -we flagged it down when... More

My husband and I stayed a long weekend at RiverView B&B and our stay was amazing. The house and grounds were absolutely beautiful and better than pictured. All staff and owner were sweet and very accommodating. Breakfast was beautiful and you can tell they go out of their way to make their guest feel comfortable. It's a great change of... More

Every place you look is beauty and every detail is exquisitely planned. I felt like royalty in the beautiful cottage which has the most incredible light from many windows. The bathroom/steam room shower felt like being at the finest spa, but all just for me! My husband when out to pick up a light snack for dinner because I didn't... More

My husband and I stayed in Val's Room in the beautifully renovated Fire House overlooking the canal. We were told we had a private bath, but our bath was right off the kitchen in the main communal area - this isn't private. The room was great, bed incredibly comfortable - everything nice touches. But, I have stayed in many many... More

“Hm, the Alida's room faces the Hudson River, so you will see the Tappen Zee bridge as well as the sunrise (if you choose not to close your blinds)”

“Not Val's room, the bathroom is not private since it is outside the doors of the bedroom off the kitchen in a hallway on the way to another set of rooms.”

“Things to consider: The stairs to the suite are very steep and the toilet and a small sink are in a very tiny closet-like space. So if you have trouble climbing stairs, or if you are a very large person you might not be comfortable with this lodging. The downstairs unit is larkger and all one story, so this might be a better option.”
