Lovely gem right next to the river/stream in the Catskills. Woodstock about 20 mins away. Very accommodating hosts, cabins come equipped if you want to eat in (although the pots and pans could use some updating) and heater in the room if it gets cold (which it did). Nice size TV with cable and little porch area to sit and enjoy the cool breeze. Bed was very soft, but that's just not my preference so probably won't bother others.
My family and I along with family friends visited many years ago. We held our last group friends gathering here. This is truly a place to create memories with friends and family. It's almost magical!!! I would recommend this location to anyone who wants to get away, relax, unwind, heal, and have fun. I would give it 20 stars in rating if I could.
Absolutely everything is amazing about this hotel. We've stayed many times and it'll always be our little escape from the city. The cottages are incredibly cute and the couple running it are wonderful people. We always make a fire in the evening and sit by the fire with a bottle of wine. We will always come back!
All the prior reviews are pretty spot on. The cabins are particularly nice to stay in if you want to cook or have a family/group. Very close to hiking/skiing/tubing/etc. Place is being sold. Hopefully the new owners will be as good as the current.

Each morning there is a complimentary continental breakfast available in the office (e.g., bagels, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, fruit, scones, muffins) and frequently home baked treats offered by the inn keepers in the afternoon. There is a large grassy area that the cottages surround (fun for kids to play in) and bbq's for each cottage as well as a communal fire pit. It's a short walk to the Esopus River and Phoenicia's Main Street, is just around the corner a short drive (or walk) away, …
