This is our 2nd stay at the Belle B& B. We stayed at the Violet suite. It comes with a kitchen, dinnet, microwave and clean bathroom. Tom and Dana who owns the place are just lovely couple. I find the place very lovely, warm and clean. It's very convenient, close proximity to Esopus creek. Close means walking about 5 minutes... More

We visited this B & B and we were quite pleased! Tom and his wife aim to please. They are very helpful in whatever you might need, directions, where to go, what to do, where to dine. Their place is warm and welcoming, as well as pristine. Beds are quite comfortable, We visited Menla for a sound healing retreat and... More

Tom is a great host. Helped me with lots of things: suggesting a trail where I could do a trekking nearby (it was great), how to buy tickets and time schedulle for bus to Woodstock. The house is amazing, lovely decorated. Bed was great, as the bathroom (only thing I missed was a hairdryer). Sitting on the living room at... More

The Phoenicia Belle is a charming, welcoming inn. Its rooms and suites are clean, quiet and beautifully furnished. Breakfast is homey and delicious. The host, Tom, has lived in the area for over two decades and is full of suggestions for enjoying the area. On top of that, he is an incredibly friendly host. I plan to return, and would... More

Tom was an excellent host. Very nice and helpful. Super accommodating. Our room was clean, well decorated, warm, cozy, and spacious. I did a lot of research for B&B's in the surrounding area and this was easily the best bang for the buck. It's very well located too. Close to shops and restaurants if you prefer to get a bite... I was on a yoga/fitness retreat with my teacher for the weekend and was seeking accommodations close to Chichester Yoga Studio. Phoenicia Belle is right in town and the owner Tom was absolutely lovely, and made me feel so welcome -- and was very accommodating to my special requests/needs. I stayed in the Ardrey's Suite, which was so nice and... More

Was looking for a quaint B&B for a night or two in a quiet location close to some Catskill area hiking. The Phoenicia Belle offered a very comfortable room with a nice breakfast in a small and well situated little town. For us it was perfect. The restaurant across the street was also what we wanted- good fare and nice... More

4 bedrooms in this quaint small friendly B and B in Phoenicia, NY. We spent two nights there recently in the Bird Room on the rear of the property. Plenty soft towels in our room and also in the bathroom next door which we shared with our son and his partner who stayed in the room next to ours. Very... More

We had a lovely one night stay here as a family - great, very welcoming service and helpful introductions to anything you might want to see or do in the area. The room (suite) was very comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. I'd definitely recommend this as a base for seeing the area and relaxing in pretty Phoenicia.

“Violet's Suite is the only one with a private bath. However, the other rooms that share a bath are equally attractive as is the bath. Not a lot of other bedrooms so sharing a bath may not be off-putting. Also, no TVs in the rooms, just in the common parlor.”
