We visited La Belle Vie with our friends and had a wonderful experience. This Victorian home is charming, warm, and comfortable with lovely antique furniture. Llewelyn and Laurel are outstanding hosts.and we loved their interesting stories. Laurel's breakfasts were creative and delicious--egg clouds, scones--just to name a few--were delicious. I can't say enough about this wonderful B&B and these wonderful hosts. Absolutely delightful!!!
I found La Belle Vie on the Tesla website when searching for a place to stay for a family wedding this weekend. I was originally booked at the Microtel in town and made the switch when I discovered I could charge up. What a great choice! This little gem was fabulous! Our room, the Ridley Room, was large and elegant with classy old world charm - and a 21st century bathroom. The owners, Llewellyn and Laurel, were gracious, friendly, and kind. Oh, and Laurel's breakfasts were amazing! I can't recommend La Belle Vie any higher. If you are headed to the Finger Lakes, you owe it to yourself to stay here. You won't be sorry.
We stayed two nights with Laurel and Llewellyn in the Ridley Room. It was very large with access to a side porch, huge bathroom and a walk in closet. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean with all of the amenities covered. The house itself is a historical treasure. Laurel and Llewellyn were nice enough to give a tour to our friends who were picking us up. We were only able to enjoy one breakfast during our stay. It was incredible! Laurel made the best omelette we have ever had. It was thin like a crepe and filled with cheese and veggies to order. That came along with home baked blueberry bread, granola parfait, home fries, and bacon. We enjoyed the time we had to chat with Laurel and Llewellyn and look forward to staying there again when we are in the area.
This beautiful Victorian home is worth visiting all by itself, with gorgeous furnishings, decor and exquisite woodwork. What makes it truly special and enjoyable are the hosts, Laurel and Llewellyn, who are gracious, interesting and true guides to the area. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful weekend.
I recently stayed here and it was very nice! Old Victorian home with lots of character. Laurel and Llewellyn were very friendly from the get-go. Breakfast was incredible every day. The tips on wineries, dinner location and gift shops were perfect. Room was spotless, and bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend this B&B.
