We booked the Sabitini's little Italy hotel and were actually placed in Christopher's Country lodge hotel. Very confusing explanation given by the manager as to why. No other hotels available in area so we were forced to stay. Room smells like mildew and cleaning supplies. The carpet was wet. The TV is old and channels are static. There was hair... More

This is a road side MOTEL, NOT a place for a descent family. Filthy carpet, crappy room, no privacy, dirty porch.. I went for my son's baseball all star weekend and all start village recommended this place.. UNBELIEVABLE.. The lodge was empty most of the time.. shirtless guys in the porch smoking.. cigarette buds all over..

After a long day of travel and packing a family member, we just wanted a nice, fun, decent place to eat where we didn't have to change clothes. Just finish the day and hit the hay in preparation for the next day. I got a very nice steak and loved it. Salad bar nicely met the need. We loved the... More

We were visiting our son at Hartwick College during basketball season and had driven by the restaruant many times without going in. Today we decided to give it a try.... we were a little concerned that we would have a long wait as it was after 7:30 p.m. by the time we arrived at the restaurant. To our surprise, we... More

It was my birthday, and my daughter's birthday. We were seated immediately. We were greeted by our server, immediately. We were all very hungry, and although he probably was not prepared for us to order appetizers and entrees so quickly, he was right on it. He was very helpful, and polite. He also had a good sense of humor, in... More

Just came back from a stay at Christophers Country Lodge and can honestly state that their customer service has DECLINED! I have been staying there for now over 15 years, and have ALWAYS requested to stay on the first floor. Well this year they put me on the second floor even though I had made reservations 2 months in advance.... More

Extremely disappointing. I was here for baseball, decided to stay here since it was recommended on the All Star Village website. Turns out, the owners of Christopher's also own All Star Village! Room is small and dreary. They never replenished the coffee, or cups when I ran out, and didn't clean my room at all on the last full day... More

Was in town for a week for son's baseball world series. Wasn't expecting much but they far exceeded my low expectations. Oh let me count the ways. Never had wi-fi, spoke to front desk 3-4 times and all they said was they'd contact comcast but didn't know when they would come. I don't think they ever called. Room always felt... More

Paid $150 per night for the room was told it is expensive because of the baseball hall of fame. There were no more than 6 rooms rented for the night so the price was not driven by demand. The windows had full wooden shutters, no curtains. If you closed the shutters there was no natural light or air, if you... More

Do not take a room on the first floor. You hear every footstep and creak the room above provides. Night one was limited to footsteps and creaks. Night two we were treated to what sounded like bowling balls being dropped, and loud foul-mouthed voices. My first call to the front desk at 1:30am went unanswered. Ah, magically the noise stopped...... More
