The inn is located in a beautiful area and has great potential. We needed to stay here as part of a wedding celebration. It took a number of calls for the proprietor to get back to us to confirm our reservation. Checking in was also a difficult endeavor, and our room was not ready even though we'd called ahead to... We stayed 2 nights while attending a wedding at Full Moon. Based on comments/complaints from other guests staying at Full Moon and Slide Mountain Inn we had the best option. The premises were spotless , had WiFi and air conditioning in the rooms, and the breakfast included was very good. On the downside the owner was inhospitable, often there was... More

This was my annual summer trip to the Alpine Inn and I happy to report that the Grieser family is still running things. After fifty years of ownership the family would like to sell the hotel and retire. Most guests including me, hope that the hotel remains in the family. These people put their bodies and souls into managing this... More

The first waft of air you get one you walk inside the door is that of old people. Musty smelling and needs updating desperately. BUYER BEWARE......NO CELL SERVICE...so if you are looking to hide from people and don't mind an antiquated surrounding this is your place. Otherwise, I'd give this place a miss. Glad I stayed only one night. Only... More

I stayed in some other lodges and hotels in the area with my family. I must say this is the cleanest one them all. The breakfast was very nice and with tons of food to choose from. Staff was friendly too, even the man on the front desk :) Since I only stayed overnight I am not sure about the... More

Being European, I loved going to this place as it reminded me of the nice old chalet in the swiss Alps. The breakfast was outstanding with tons of things to choose from, from fruits salad to scrambled eggs, cereals, hot bagels and chalah rolls. We really loved it. The room are a bit old fashioned (70's) but in the good... More

The setting, the service and most of all the hospitality given by the gressler family. For over 20 plus years , Family members have stayed at the inn during the peak of the autumn foliage to view the amazing foliage of the surrounding area. They spoke about the good times they had there. impeccable cleanliness of the rooms, but also... More

We have stayed in a number of motels and B&B's in this area when we have attended the Belleayre Music Festival. This is a clean motel and the breakfast is good. The surroundings are beautiful. Unfortunately, the staff are not warm and hospitable. With this in mind, we would stay here again but would not expect much more.

The weekend started out as a backpacking trip. The plan was to hike to the giant ledges, set up, lighten our packs and head to Panther's peak. The forecast was calling for slight showers in the morning, clearing early...long story short, after 6 hours of rain and heavy wind we decided to find a room and just come back for... More

Stayed at the Alpine Inn while attending a wedding up the road. We were a little weary before we arrived due to reviews that we read on trip advisor. Upon our arrival we were very pleasantly surprised by how nice the Inn was. The rooms were immaculate and felt retro not dated. We had a king room with jacuzzi and... More

We love to hear we exceeded your expectations! This feedback is helpful -- we're always looking for ways to improve here and there. Being disconnected's not so bad with the beauty of nature all around you (and a jacuzzi doesn't hurt), right? Hope to see you again, The Griesser Family More
