WE stayed at the Old Library Inn Bed & Breakfast last month and we had a delightful experience! The rooms were clean, the staff was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious! Located on main street, we were able to take in the historic district and attend mass at the Catholic Church. We love this place and look forward to future... More

There are pretty much no charming hotels and b&bs in Olean or environs. Except this one. The interior is spacious and fabulously in period. My room was furnished with beautiful old oak pieces and also a nice big TV and private bath. Breakfast was delicious and ample. I love old hotels, and I come up to the area every fall,... More

This was our second stay at this B&B and we really enjoyed our stay in the Major Hoops room. This inn is spotless and the beds are very comfy. The rooms are very quiet and private. Breakfast is so good. I love their LA cinnamon toast with vanilla glaze. Super bacon, too. We've already booked another trip in October. This... More

The inn was beautiful, the decor was historic and charming and the staff made us feel right at home. There is a lovely front porch where we enjoyed our coffee and great conversation. The best part was the delicious home cooked breakfast made to order in the morning. Will be back for sure!

My wife and I attempt to stay at bed and breakfasts whenever we travel. On a recent trip to Olean, New York for a family wedding, we were delighted to find such a charming B&B. During our stay we greatly appreciated the cleanliness of our accommodations as well as the friendliness of the staff. It is cliché to read this... More

Very nice owner, enjoyed talking to him before we arrived. However, the Durkin suite that we rented was in the basement of the house. I would have liked to have known this in advance. The basement smelled very musty...you put carpet and fabric sofa and chairs in a basement for many years with no circulation and that's what you get.... More

The room was comfy, the breakfast was wonderful, the owner and staff were friendly and helpful, and the old mansion was gorgeous. This place exceeded our expectations. We also had a great walk around the historic district in the morning and saw a wide range of beautiful structures. I would like to come back again and stay for a week!

My daughter and I came here to check the Old Library Inn as a possible venue for my daughter's upcoming wedding. We were offered a free overnite at the bed and breakfast. We absolutely loved everything about it. The staff were very accommodating. Our room was awesome. The Home cooked breakfast was delicious. We could not have asked for a... More

Stayed over two nights--beautiful accommodation and breakfast was delicious. The central location means you can walk to many venues in Olean. This was an old mansion in Olean; visitors will appreciate all the oak trim and lovely period furnishings.

Stayed at this very quaint B&B for a weekend event at St.Bonaventure and couldn't have been more pleased. My Victorian room was decorated in a style keeping with the name: lace curtains, laced edged bed sheets and a cozy chair with writing desk. Room was immaculate and bed was super comfy. A window air conditioner kept the room comfortable. My... More
