Stayed in the 10 person ...Lexington Cottage. Clean, spacious, and close proximity to all. Fully maintained and able to cook all meals during our stay. The Palms provided me with the venue to celebrate my birthday with friends and family..the entire staff was upbeat and accommodating. I had no idea that this jewel was in such close proximity to New York City...bye bye Hamptons and Jersey Shore...hello Palms Hotel. See you real soon. I hope Kenny and Jillian are there.

If you want a good location and don't care about getting your money's worth in luxury...then this place is okay. I booked a bay view apartment with a living room. When we got there they replaced the living room furniture with two beds (pictured). When I went to the front desk they were not apologetic at all...in fact, made excuses saying that they accommodated us with a requested early check in and pots and pans for the kitchen (should not have bee a big deal). The pictures don't match any of the locations...it is not a luxury boutique hotel as they say. For $1300 per night I wanted to host my Rosh Hashanah dinner in my living room since it was too cold to use the deck. I had to cancel our friends because I was too embarrassed to serve appetizers in a living room with double beds. I would not have book the bayview suite for $1300 per night if that were the case. I could have overlooked the place being run down. A lot of beach places are...but they had excused for everything...no apologies that it didn't match the pictures.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Palms Hotel two weeks ago and it was a fantastic experience right from the beginning. Laura and her staff welcomed us with open arms and was very accommodating. We were able to go kayaking with help from Chuck at the dock. In addition, we were able to enjoy some food and drinks by the beach. We will definitely come back! :)

Second visit to Palms Hotel Fire island. Happy to see COVID-19 precautions in place too. Easy check in and check out. The rooms are nice, and the view is spectacular! All of the staff were warm and friendly. Everything was great!
