We stayed at Hotel Nyack for one night and had a nice experience. The highlight of our stay was the wonderful front desk agent. He was extremely welcoming and friendly, and went out of his way to thank us for being Globalists, even though the property just joined Hyatt only 5 days prior. He offered us a complimentary cheese and fruit plate. Unfortunately, there were no upgrades available that day, but when we asked to tour one of the larger suites, he agreed and personally gave us the tour. He even told us that if we were to come back, he would guarantee us a suite! The hotel is modern, eclectic, and has a boutique feel to it. However, our room was too dark for us - there weren't enough windows or lighting fixtures. This was probably intentional, for purposes of ambience, but we didn't prefer it. Another downside was that there was no breakfast due to the pandemic. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would possibly come again to try the suite!

Hotel's Favorite
My aunt stayed here and was raving about it. So I checked it out and completely agree with her (which is rare) ..... This hotel is incredibly hip for Rockland County. It felt like a loft type of hotel in Cali or Colorado. I loved every aspect of it. Great associates work there too with a passion for excellence .... highly recommend

Stayed here with family for a quick overnight. Hotel is beautiful, staff very friendly. Overall I felt the hotel was a bit too trendy for a family. In order to activate lights in room you need to put your room key in special socket. This turns on all lights in room including under and behind the beds. Not ideal for when you don’t want to wake a sleeping one year old. Wound up showering in the dark with my phone flashlight shedding a sliver of light in order to avoid waking my baby. Also pillows were horrible and only 2 per full size bed. Would have liked more support. Barn door for bathroom provides little privacy. Probably would have liked this hotel more if it was just myself and husband and perhaps a king bed with more pillows.

Please feel free to contact me directly upon your next visit so we can make sure you are comfortable from start to finish. There are some items brought up that we would like to follow up on including the lighting as it should still be controlled by a switch. Our goal is to make sure you enjoy your stay with us. I had high hopes based on other reviews however my husband and I had issues from the beginning of our stay when we noticed the thermostat hanging off the wall and a freezing room. We promptly switched rooms and got ready for bed but had to withstand 3 hours of loud inappropriate “intimate noises” plus banging on the wall of our adjoining room by our neighbor for which we called the front desk to complain and he chuckled and said he would “have someone talk to them” We were up until midnight when it was finally quiet. Other issues included the fact that cable box is situated behind the tv so impossible to turn on or flip channels. The final straw was when we woke up and noticed our sheets in the daylight were filthy and stained. Pics below. Will not be staying here again.

First, let me say this, the bar/restaurant staff are exceptional! They get 5 Stars. Food and drink are good as well. Front desk staff is so so depending on who is there. Let me preface, I've travelled extensively around the world and US, for both work and leisure. I've stayed at some of the best hotel and some ok ones as well. The Time Nyack did not meet the expectation that it presents. As the most expensive hotel in the area and the most modern, I expected a bit more in terms of appearance and Service. One night here is good enough if passing through ,but Id rather stay at a Courtyard or basic Hilton. THE WALLS HERE ARE PAPER THIN!!!! This is not an understatement. You can hear full conversations as if you were sitting 6 feet apart. So IMAGINE the other "Conversations" you hear. While in bed, I could hear someone in one adjacent room snoring and the other room having sex. Not to mention the party-goers in the hallway. Also, the rooms are DARK, Adams Family Style, no windows at the eye level, Windows begin at the 10ft mark and have limited light exposure. Not the relaxing city getaway I was looking for, to say the least.
