We've never been to Northville, NY before and were pleasantly surprised to arrive into a special little Town as a 4th of July Parade was happening. We saw America at its Best! Young and old, the entire Town came out to see the Parade! Everyone was waving Flags! Many brought their own chairs. And then...they did it all over again... More

We stayed in Blue Heron 1. It's the closest to the road, but what little road noise there was didn't bother us. The bed and futon were both comfortable, and windows on both sides provided a great cross-breeze. The kitchenette was sufficient for our short stay. Loved the coffee beans and pottery mugs. As another reviewer said, the physical location... More

We loved The Orendaga! We stayed for a long weekend in one of the Blue Heron Suites. The property was beautiful (though our room was closest to the main road) and the free use of canoes and kayaks was a plus. Even though there wasn't too much to do in town, we were able to comfortably hang out in our... More

We spent a wonderful week at the Orendaga during July 2014. We stay in the Orendaga cabin. What a wonderful cabin. You could walk to town, go swimming, fishing, and we learn how to kayak while there. Everyone was very friendly. Have a very nice art studio were you are able to mugs, bowls, and wonderful soaps. I loved that... More

By coincidence we found out about The Orendaga and were attracted by the environmental friendly concept described on their website. We stayed at the Blue Heron cabin and were very happy with our choice to stay here for our weekend in the Adirondacks. Very nicely decorated cabin with a lot of wonderful and thoughtful details, telling you about the owner's... More

The setting on the lake is really lovely. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious. The front porch had nice seating and a pretty view. There were chairs scattered on the lawn closer to the water that were also nice. We weren't there when it was warm enough to swim altho there is easy access to the water.

We stayed in the Blue Bird cabin. It has its own fully renovate and very modern kitchen, which was wonderful for our week's stay. The cabin was very chic in decor and very private and absolutely comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful with suggestions for various things around the adorable town. They have a cool art studio where you can... More

We stayed at The Orendaga cabin the second week in SEPTEMBER. Very peaceful! The cabin is quaint and gorgeous. Loved the small town and colors of the Fall leaves. Private beach. Free usage of canoes and kayaks. We are yearly visitors and will return more often. We had a great time at The Broad Albin Craft fair and ate Lanzis on... More

We stayed here for two nights for my birthday. The rooms were beautiful and the cabin was tastefully decorated. They provide organic coffee and handmade soaps. We were rigtht on the water and there were boats to use. Warning: you have to walk through lots of muck before swimming. The price was the biggest negative. We chose the Orendaga cabin... More

We stayed in suite 1. Rooms new and nice. By a nice lake with free kayaks and row boat. Nice people. A little noisy. On one hand I could appreciate the cicadas to the right but heard all the traffic to the left, as room 1 is near the road. And there is an art studio and people park by... More
