We always stay here when visiting Fira. Marianne and her family are the perfect hosts. Kosmas, is very helpful and they all treat us so well. The rooms are cleaned daily, we stay in the newly renovated ground floor room. The facilities are brilliant and the bed is so comfortable. It’s very clean. The pool area is great to spend the hot afternoons. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Santorini.

We have just returned from a week in beautiful Santorini. Our host Kosmas and his mum Katerina could not be more helpful. We were picked up from the port on our arrival and returned to the airport on our departure all at no extra cost. Villa romantic is exceptionally clean and the pool is great. We enjoyed many an evening sitting on our balcony enjoying the view.It is an uphill walk into town which takes about 15 min on a busy road but Kosmas does a drop off into town every morning and it is a pleasant downhill walk back. For the price is was A +++. Would definatly return.

This was a our first point of call during our island hopping holiday. The views of Santorini coming in by ferry are amazing and well worth the 8 hour crossing from Piraeus.
When you arrive at the port it is utter chaos and nothing can prepare you for this. We phoned ahead and got the hotel to pick us up which they did with no problems or charge!
The hotel is small and peaceful and is tucked away down a steep hill away from the hustle and bustle of Fira Town. This is OK if you are fit and well, however, do not stay here if you have walking difficulties, if you do hire a car or quad bike.
The owners of the hotel will give a guide to Santorini, however, take their views with a pinch of salt especially the recommendations of local restaurants. Their recommendation was OK however, we found better restaurants ourselves.
The rooms themselves are large and all have sea views along with a fridge and air conditioning and are cleaned on a daily basis. There is a nice swimming pool which nobody seemed to use during our stay which meant we had it to ourselves, a great place to relax, absorb the sun and unwind.
The only disappointing part of the room is the bathroom which is small and everytime you take a shower everthing gets wet.
We had one problem during our stay, in the fact that that the owner of the hotel tried to blame us for damage to the bathroom even though this had happened before we arrived. Please check your room for faults when you check in and report it immediately. The blame we received left a bitter taste in our mouths.
The island of Santorini has some breath taking views, however, 3-4 days on the island is enough time to see everything. The beaches are disappointing in comparsion to neighbouring islands. The Volcano is over-rated and the sunsets at Oia can again be beaten by neighbouring islands.
Santorini is really easy to get around, air conditioned buses run right round the island from Fira and provide a frequent and cheap method of transportation. They run past midnight if you want a late night.
Overall the island is worth seeing, however is over-rated in our opinion and very expensive!

We booked the accommodation several months in advance, we made sure that when we arrived at night they would be there to open the room for us. Surprise, the host was high at home and canceled our reservation when we arrived at dawn.
Painful experience, I do not recommend it to anyone, apart from that we continue trying to recover the money for the accommodation from Booking, a platform which I do not recommend using because it is another scam, after calling at least 60 times, sending our souls in a document They keep laughing at us making cheap excuses. Seriously, do not stay here, and I highly recommend that you DO NOT USE BOOKING.

We stayed at this hotel for one night at the end of our trip, expecting it to be the best hotel of our stay on several Greek islands, but we were left disappointed by the state of the room and the service. We paid for a room with sea view, though the terrace and view were the only good features it had. The room itself and especially the bathroom were very run-down and basic, definitely not what you would expect from a hotel which calls itself a resort or 'romantic'. We stayed in cheaper hotels during our trip which were in much better condition and in a better location. The streets leading to this hotel don't have pavement and are not well-lit, which didn't feel safe when we walked there in the evening. On top of that, there were additional charges for several things, such as luggage storage. Storage was only for free if you booked airport transfer from the hotel, which costs 30 euros. As the airport bus only charges 1.80 euros, this is not a great deal. I never had to pay for luggage storage in any hotel I ever stayed at.
Fortunately, the host was friendly and welcoming, but after staying in much better hotels at cheaper rates, I was happy to only stay in this hotel for one night.

On January 2022 i was made a booking for a double room on august by booking.com (99€)
Our surprised was when on sunday 7-23-22 we received a mail from hotel by booking.com about our credit card is out of amount. On the same day we send to the hotel 2 more extra credits cards and on next monday we received another mail inform us our booking is cancelled because credits cards dont have amount I repeat the credit have not amount . We call the hotel and tell us the credits cards ( 3 different) dont have permission of the bank BUT if we want we can do a new reservation ( new price 400€) aand sure the old credits cards works.
Bad job do the hotel and bad job custom help for booking.com because dont help us and only say us do a new booking.
Be carefull with this hotel because if you do a cheap reservation on january an the hotel have a best and more expensive offer for the your room on august sure your booking was cancelled and you sleep at the street.

As we arrived at the hotel, Kosmas ran out and loitered by our car window with a puzzled look on his face, which only went when he was convinced we really did have a booking with him. The room was OK. The location not great, you definitely need a car if you want access to pretty much anywhere from this hotel.
Kosmas came flying out of his black smart car (AKA. the Kosmas-Mobile) once again the day before we left, insisting we check out. When we reminded him we still had a day left, and would like to be left to enjoy our holiday in peace, he shuffled his way back inside and came out again five minutes later giving us the thumbs up to leave.
God help you if you take your room towels to the jacuzzi, the Kosmas-mobile also has tinted windows, so you never know when he might be watching, waiting to remind you of 'the rules'.
Bizarre experience. wouldn't stay there again. His family seemed nice though.

Excellent small hotel with friendly informative family ownership (Mrs Katarina and her son, Mr. Kosmos). Much better than websites depicted and a good pool with quiet surroundings. The owners gave us good information on the island and maintained a really clean pleasant hotel. The owners are very kind to collect and drop us at the airport. Good atmosphere for family gathering. I strongly recommend this hotel... Noke

I stayed at Villa Romantic with a large group of friends and we had the best time! Kosmos and his mother, Katarina were the most hospitable people. Kind, generous and available at all times of the day and night to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Cosmos greeted us at the airport and would shuttle us into town daily. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The price is very affordable. We felt right at home there and would recommend it to anyone.
Thank you Kosmos for a great stay! We hope to see you again and we will be sure to bring Princess Maureen along with us!!!
Your friends from Canada,
The girls and.... "the Albert"
