We really enjoyed our stay at Anamnesis Spa City Hotel and we didn't even have a spa room. In fact we were unaware that there were rooms with spas and now wish we had one! However without knowing this, we were very satisfied with our room and our stay. On arrival Theodosia at reception made us very welcome with a map and advice on local restaurants etc, and was very helpful throughout our stay. We had a room at the back of the hotel, downstairs at the end of the corridor (very close to the breakfast room). We had a balcony and the donkeys travelled right underneath our balcony every morning and evening on their way to and from the caldera. The room was more spacious than expected and had tea and coffee making facilities, a sandwich toaster, and a small bar fridge. Milk was supplied when we asked for it. The hotel is in a great location close to the main square and only ten minutes walk (uphill) to the caldera. There are many restaurants nearby, two small supermarkets, a laundry (no self service, they do it for you for 20 euro per small basket), and the bus station from where you can travel to the rest of the island is only 400m away. We did not bother with a car but walked or used the public buses everywhere. The breakfast buffet had a substantial selection with minor changes from day to day. There is a reasonable sized pool that you can actually do laps in. The toiletries supplied were also very nice, containing olive oil. We could not fault this hotel or the hospitality provided by the staff.
Tips: Eat at Panigyri just up the road for a fine dining experience, the Kipos Garden restaurant is also very nice. Go on the volcano cruise which also visits Thirassia. Do not trust the scammers at the ferry port trying to charge excessive fees for transport. It only costs 30 euro to get to Fira from the ferry port.

Nice hotel off the Fira restaurant buzz yet close enough . Very helpful and friendly staff always ready to help with a smile and good recommendations. The rooms are nice with a small refrigerator and a kettle with filter coffee in a jar and teabags but no milk. You can ask for milk and they will provide you. The breakfast is good and plentiful the coffee machine could be better. Has a pool though not heated yet protected form peeping toms.

Visited here 14th July for one week with my partner on our first trip to Santorini. Upon checking in at 1 o clock in the morning, the receptionist was great. He was very friendly and told us all the info we needed to know welcoming then took our luggage up to the room and explained everything in the room eg hot tub.
Our room was fantastic. I would definitely recommend getting a room with a hot tub. The view is great and it was so relaxing being in there on an evening. The only criticisms we had for the room were that there wasn’t much storage space at all, our suitcases were always out when we would have preferred somewhere in the room to store them and the wardrobe was quite small with not many drawers so our room ended up quite messy quickly. Also, we found the bed very uncomfortable, to the point we were waking up during the night. It was very firm and just not comfy at all.
In terms of the actual hotel, the pool area was fantastic. We spent most of our time there each day and it was always quiet and spotless. The whole hotel was spotless actually and I don’t think I’ve ever had such good housekeeping as we did here, the maids made our room absolutely spotless every single day.
One staff member in particular made our stay just that little bit better and that was Theodosia on reception. She is by far the best receptionist I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. On our first day, I asked her for pool towels. Every day after that, our pool towels were ready as soon as we came down to reception. She was incredibly friendly, hard working, caring and fantastic at her job. She even noticed that we didn’t usually go down for breakfast and asked us to make sure everything was ok (which it was, breakfast was great, we just always had too much to drink the night before to make it in time). Although every staff member was great, Theodosia went above and beyond and I will recommend this hotel to people due to the service she provided.
I cannot speak more highly of this hotel. The location, staff and rooms make it the perfect place to stay in Santorini and when we come back, we will only stay here.
Thank you so much to the hotel and staff.

We stayed at the Anamnesis Spa Hotel in Fira for a week to relax after the few days in Athens. The hotel is in a good location close to the town centre but its also a problem due to it being on the main road from town which meant we had a lot of traffic driving past the hotel day and night and very noisy with the quad bikes and lorries. The room was very nice and spacious with a fridge in the room which was good for keeping drinks in but again was noisy during the night which meant that I unplugged it to get some sleep. The bathroom was a good size with lots of toiletries and fresh towels and bathrobes. The wall plugs/sockets were in awkward places to plug our phones into and the air conditioning unit was also in an awkward position above the wardrobe. We had breakfast every morning and it was good with a good selection every day that was changed most mornings. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they organise the shuttle service to the airport for us. The hotel is OK but the noise levels were not good for a relaxed holiday and it's just that Santorini has become too popular now and is very busy with tourists and traffic around the town that makes it more difficult to relax.

This is a small hotel in Fira, with a very palatable price-point as far as Fira goes. We had marvelous time there on all counts. First off, the team there was very proactive in communication with us prior to our arrival. They sent an email describing varuius things they could do to assist us when we arrived. They graciously set up a taxi pick-up from the harbor and a day of wine tasting. Our room was just lovely....clean, comfortable, and we so enjoyed the hot tub on the patio on several of our evenings. Breakfast was also just right, with many choices to choose from. The staff were extra helpful and simply delightful. In all, this hotel exceeded expectations and I would highly recommend it!

Rooms- spacious with towels changed daily. Small fridge in room and small balcony with nice views. Stayed in room 9 downstairs opposite the breakfast bar.
Breakfast- mostly continental with lots of choice. Fresh fruit juices, coffee machine and hot food.
Pool- probably one of the bigger pools on the island so needed after a day sightseeing. Spent the day at the pool one day and enough space for everyone although hardly anyone there at peak times! Towels provided also from reception even for day trips.
Service- very welcoming and friendly. Booked boat trip with reception and cheaper than online. Also recommended restaurants and other trips.
Location- off the strip near 3 supermarkets and on one of the flatter roads. The rest of the island is hilly and it was nice to be away from the main strip even though it was a short walk

Fantastic hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, from the moment we checked in the staff gave us a map and a heap of great recommendations for food and activities and tips for island travel.
The room was beautiful, spacious and had great aircon. We had a room with a spa which was the perfect temperature. If it’s within budget, one of these rooms is a must!!
The wifi was decent and the buffet breakfast had a wonderful selection. The pool at the hotel is a nice set up and is large enough for all guests.
The hotel itself is a very short walk into the main CBD of Fira, where there are many bars and restaurants to choose from. It really was the perfect location.
The staff assisted with organising us a taxi back to the airport on our departure and make checking out simple.
If you’re planning a trip to Santorini, Anamnesis City Spa should be the ones you turn to for accommodation.
Simply fantastic.

The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the main town of Fira. The reception staff are very welcoming and had great tips for local restaurants and excursions. The room was fine, comfy bed and hot shower. We had a problem with the bathroom door but this was quickly fixed. I had a massage in the hotel and it was pricy but well worth it! The only downside was the breakfast, unfortunately the pastries and cakes were very dry and the hot food was only luke warm. Overall would recommend this hotel.

The cleanliness of the hotel on arrival and throughout our stay. Faye welcomed us on arrival and explained everything about the hotel and the area . On the next day Theodosia was on the desk and was very helpful 👌 in her expertise on santorini and best way to get to our planned days ....and recommended us to go to megalochori and what a spendid day that was . The breakfast was different everyday and a good selection too. Eleni thank you for the delicious food . Marina , Dora and Anna thank you for making our rooms nice and clean . It was so nice to relax after walking all day 😌 If I came to santorini again I'll definitely stay here again .

Theodosia at the front desk welcomed us, answered many questions and assisted with a car rental. The company delivered the car to the hotel and picked it up, the process was super easy. The hotel is charming, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast has many choices. The room is cute, has a fridge and coffee maker, comfy bed, shower products are made of olive oil, amazing! The pool was cold, unfortunately. I recommend this affordable property in Fira.
