Anamnesis met and exceeded our expectations. We were blown away by the exceptional staff who helped us throughout our stay. We stayed four days and wish we could have stayed longer. We are very grateful for Theodosia who went above and beyond to recognize us on our honeymoon. She truly made our stay memorable. She is a hard worker and was constantly going above and beyond to help everyone out. We really enjoyed our room, the location and the breakfast as well. Thank you Theodosia!

Visited here 14th July for one week with my partner on our first trip to Santorini. Upon checking in at 1 o clock in the morning, the receptionist was great. He was very friendly and told us all the info we needed to know welcoming then took our luggage up to the room and explained everything in the room eg hot tub. Our room was fantastic. I would definitely recommend getting a room with a hot tub. The view is great and it was so relaxing being in there on an evening. The only criticisms we had for the room were that there wasn’t much storage space at all, our suitcases were always out when we would have preferred somewhere in the room to store them and the wardrobe was quite small with not many drawers so our room ended up quite messy quickly. Also, we found the bed very uncomfortable, to the point we were waking up during the night. It was very firm and just not comfy at all. In terms of the actual hotel, the pool area was fantastic. We spent most of our time there each day and it was always quiet and spotless. The whole hotel was spotless actually and I don’t think I’ve ever had such good housekeeping as we did here, the maids made our room absolutely spotless every single day. One staff member in particular made our stay just that little bit better and that was Theodosia on reception. She is by far the best receptionist I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. On our first day, I asked her for pool towels. Every day after that, our pool towels were ready as soon as we came down to reception. She was incredibly friendly, hard working, caring and fantastic at her job. She even noticed that we didn’t usually go down for breakfast and asked us to make sure everything was ok (which it was, breakfast was great, we just always had too much to drink the night before to make it in time). Although every staff member was great, Theodosia went above and beyond and I will recommend this hotel to people due to the service she provided. I cannot speak more highly of this hotel. The location, staff and rooms make it the perfect place to stay in Santorini and when we come back, we will only stay here. Thank you so much to the hotel and staff.

We stayed for 1 week at Anamnesis city spa hotel and I cannot recommend it enough. We stayed in the junior suite which really exceeded our expectations. The room comes with a huge terrace with sun beds, umbrella, table/chairs, hammock and your own hot tub all over looking a sea view. We spent most of our days relaxing here but also good to have the hotel pool as an option too. Location is perfect with a few minutes walk into Fira main square. Also a mini shop across the road and a lovely restaurant next door. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. 100% would recommend!

Theodosia at the front desk welcomed us, answered many questions and assisted with a car rental. The company delivered the car to the hotel and picked it up, the process was super easy. The hotel is charming, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast has many choices. The room is cute, has a fridge and coffee maker, comfy bed, shower products are made of olive oil, amazing! The pool was cold, unfortunately. I recommend this affordable property in Fira.

Me and my mum stayed here in August last year and had the best time! The staff were friendly and helped us with anything we needed, the reception is open 24/7 so you can party all night! The pool was lovely and was a gorgeous sun trap. The hotel was in the perfect location with a short 5 minute walk to the restaurants, shops, bars and clubs. You can get the bus for €2 to Oia, Kamari, Perrisa, Akrotiri and more. The rooms were very clean and cosy , also a lovely little balcony were we watched the donkeys walk past every morning. Breakfast did not have a lot of choice but everything was delicious and fresh. Thank you for our stay we will be back!

My daughter and I spent 9 nights at this little gem of a hotel in August and couldn’t fault anything. Maria & Sara were the friendliest, most polite hotel staff ever and the lovely lady who cooked breakfast every morning too & what a breakfast; not just your average continental offering, but local pastries & cakes from the local bakery, juices, coffees, tea, fresh fruit, yogurt, honey and preserves, toast , Greek savoury pastries, bacon, egg, sausage, omelette, eggs bread, cereals, tomatoes, olives- even lurpack butter!!! Nothing was too much for the staff and they really did bend over backwards to make your stay memorable for all the right reasons! 24 hour reception, daily room cleaning and towel changes, great location, just one street away from the main drag, so set back and nice and quiet . Room had tea & coffee making facilities & even a sandwich 🥪 maker!! Towels for pool provided, flannels too and daily toiletries . Highly recommended!

We book the room which was described as a duplex. Whence arrived we found it to be a loft. Very steep steps to the loft with a double bed. This situation was unsafe for us. The hotel said they had no other rooms and they refused to help us in anyway. We ultimately had to book a different hotel for 3 night stay in Fira. Costing us two hotels. This was a pitiful looking room and not like any of their pictures.

Response from Anamnesis, Υπεύθυνος Ρεσεψιόν at Anamnesis City Spa Hotel
Responded Aug 27, 2019
Dear Mr Chris, Thank you for taking the time to review us however we would like to point out some facts: The basic duplex room without balcony that you booked is only one and this is why we were not able to allocate you in any other room type as we informed you at the front desk. On top of that we were fully booked for the week so we did not have alternative options to give you. The room is clearly described on the website where you made your reservation and there are photos that show exactly the staircase inside so we were surpised that you were not aware of that. We did try to kindly explain all the above to you but you refused to be helped and instead you were shouting and threatening us with a bad review several times. Mr Chris, we are sorry that we were not able to accommodate your needs, this is absolutely not the service that we strive to provide to our guests. We hope to have the chance to prove that to you next time in another room type. Regards, Anamnesis Team

My boyfriend and I spent 3 nights at this hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful, reception 24/7. The location is strategic too. Rooms are clean overall, yet, I couldn’t help but notice some mould in the shower. The breakfast is very basic and there’s not much choice. But the efficiency of the staff makes up for what the hotel lacks.

We stayed here mid May as it was our first time in Santorini... Location; Approx 20 mins drive from the airport (eur 20 per way for transfer). Within 5-10 mins walking to the busy caldera, shops, restaurants and bars. Not 'centrally' located, but just the right distance so you are not disturbed by the hoards of tourists who flock to Santorini. Hotel: Lovely place. Overall feel of the place is inviting and cosy. Pool seemed lovely (although we never used it). Room; We got the room with the private Jacuzzi. The view was slightly disappointing as we basically overlooked someone's roof and grass etc, looking above all of them we had a clear view of the ocean - which was nice. The in our 3 night stay, we used it thrice, it was not heating up though which was quite disappointing. Overall the room was spacious, clean and had the basic amenities one would look for - perhaps for this price point, we expected a little more, hence the 1 point down for me. Bathroom; Spacious, clean and no complaints. Beds; Clean, comfortable and super soft with nice pillows. Managed to get a good night's rest! Breakfast; Small but great selection daily with greek yogurt, cold cuts, eggs, pastries, cereals etc. Quite pleased. Staff: The biggest asset for the property! Maria and the other lady at the reception (cannot recall her name) were ever so lovely! Super helpful and always smiling!! They both helped my now fiancee quite a bit with the surprise proposal :) hence, we will always remember them as well as the property. Overall: We would recommend & stay here again.
