We liked it here. From your room you can watch the sunset while enjoying cocktails from the bar. There is also a small restaurant, or you can order food in the room. The rooms are clean and stylishly decorated. You can also visit the pool overlooking the caldera. Delicious breakfast and meals in the restaurant.

Hotel's Favorite
Booked the transport to meet us at the ferry port and a man from the hotel was at the car drop off point waiting for us. He carried our suitcases to the hotel down the steps and slopes for us. The hotel is just beautiful in every single way. The room we had was just lovely, it was built into the cliff and the shower was huge. We didn’t have a hot tub but we certainly had the most stunning view. The butler service at breakfast was amazing served to your balcony by an absolutely lovely waiter who was really kind and took pictures of us. His service was on time with the food being lovely, hot bacon and eggs, toast and jams, coffee, cereals and fruit juices. The time and breakfast you book when you arrive and this stays the same the whole time you are there unless you change it. The pool was 98 steps down from our room but once there it was amazing, Never over crowded and we got chance to talk to other people from Canada, America and Ireland which was nice. To offer drinks or food you ring from a poolside telephone and the waiter brings them down! The bar staff were efficient and incredible working with a huge smile in such heat! For 60 euros for 2 people we had a 3 course evening meal delivered to our balcony with butler service and candles… this hotel was just perfect!!!! For 40 euros the hotel organised a moped for us, we went to Oia during the day and again back at night….Oia is the most beautiful place in the world and is a must see in Santorini…. We took the moped to the waters edge in Oia and had the most stunning mussels and shrimps … so fresh! Fira has more nightlife… if you choose Fira I totally recommend this hotel as we were treated so well and the location is the BEST!!!

Our experience at Porto Fira Suites was truly amazing. But then again you're in Santorini. Heaven on Earth. Everything was beautiful. Alot of stairs to our room. 160 steps yes we counted them. Total of 320 everyday, we didn't mind it, we were doing so much eating and drinking, that was our workout. The only thing I was not crazy about was the Bar. The bartender made amazing drinks but he was not personable or inviting. The bar was always empty. We would come back from a full day of tours, he would just stand there not even look us. You would think he would ask " are you ready for a drink" nothing very dull atmosphere. By 9 pm there was no one there.. We went to the bar next door to Athina the bartender was so outgoing and pleasant so we spent our money there. The hotel is beautiful, just needs a bartender that is inviting and pleasant. You have a disgruntled employee, he would of made alot of tips with us. But all he did was talk bad of his employer. While on vacation you just want good vibes.

Managed to book a table last minute to see the sun setting. Although it is a few levels down from the main drag, the view was still lovely. Had our own private balcony where the staff ensured they kept coming over to cater for our needs. Food was lovely too.

Close to fira town centre, but quite a few steps down past other hotels. Clean and modern with great choice of breakfast and lovely staff. The pictures give the impression that the balcony area is private but other guests are walking past so no opportunity to sunbathe in private. We initially booked a suite but this ended up being right next to reception so we ended up paying extra for the honeymoon suite which is further down the cliff.

We traveled to Santorini as part of a longer trip through Greece and had the pleasure of staying at Porto Fira Suites for a week. If this hotel fits your budget and your plans, you should absolutely stay here - it is a DREAM. I'm not going to bother uploading any of my own photos, as the pictures provided by hotel management are 100% accurate. The hotel and rooms are furnished in a way that seamlessly complements the incredible architectural details of the property (think soft curves, arches, iconic white walls inside and out) and the pool is intimate but beautiful with lots of lounge seating around it. The linens in the room were luxe and the bed was very comfortable, the shower was always hot and the shower products and mini bar were restocked every day. That said, the best part of this hotel (and the reason you should visit) is that the service is some of the best we've experienced. The women running the front desk (I believe we met two of them) are highly organized and highly effective - arranged transportation, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The housekeeping staff left the room impeccable every day which was not a small task, considering how much luggage we had! Dionisis who runs the hotel bar is an absolute professional at what he does, and relaxing in the bar every evening was probably our favourite part of our trip. The view is spectacular, the drinks even better (he's a master at craft cocktails - tell him what you usually drink and let him make you his version!) and even if you're not staying here I highly recommend at least stopping by the bar around sunset to experience this amazing property. We definitely plan to return to Santorini and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Note: Let the hotel arrange your transportation to the hotel from the airport - the private transfer service they use was excellent and we wound up using them most days on our trip to take us to the beach, etc.

I love this bar, very chilled but very sofisticated, stunning views, and the cocktails are really amazing! I came back many times. Staff extremely nice, heads up to the bar manager!! This place and its staff contributed to making my staying in santorini magical.

Great room, lots of space. Close to great shopping and restaurants. It is definitely a climb, but Ben helped us with our luggage going up and down so he made it easier to make the climb. He was so kind as was the full staff. I highly recommend these suites.

Our stay at Porta Fira was excellent. Beautiful rooms and the view was spectacular! Staff was friendly and helpful. Andreas and Angela were helpful with arranging excursions and directions. Dionisis at the bar was a wonderful mixologist and a great conversationalist. He made our stay so enjoyable. Not to be missed is the lamb chops. Done to perfection and the presentation was beautiful! Breakfast was brought to your room daily and was a great assortment of egg dishes, breads, sweets and fruits. Creamy yogurt with cherries and hot coffee with warm frothy milk. Delicious and a comfortable place to stay in Santorini.
