We stayed at this hotel as part of a groupon, so had no other choice. However i wouldn't recommend it. It is located very close to Fira which was the ONLY thing we enjoyed about it. The mattress felt like we were sleeping on plywood. The shower was like a 4x4 square with a hand held wand and only a wrap around shower curtain. The curtain stuck to you the second you became wet and water was spraying all over the floor. It was easier to "shower" in the pool. There was not a safe in the room for our belongings. The door to our room was extremely hard to lock and unlock. The breakfast was just okay, not much to be desired, however it was included. The staff themselves were very nice at our encounters. I wouldn't recommend unless every other hotel on the island is booked.

Bed mattress was like a camping mattress. Thin and uncomfortable. Shower was so small you couldn’t move in it. No good for a bigger bloke like me. I ended up just having the curtain open so I could wash myself. Ended up flooding the bathroom every time we showered. Had to put a towel against the door to stop the room flooding. Also the smell coming out of the drain was something else. A wet towel over the top seemed to stop the stench. We had breakfast included but didn’t eat there. It was poor at best. We ate at a restaurant just up the road each morning. Best thing about this place is it’s close to the centre of Santorini. 5 minute walk up the hill and you’re there. Limited English, 30 Euros to take us to the port. Unlikely to recommend.

I never leave reviews - but my experience at this hotel was one of the worst. I travel frequently around the world and this trip was booked using a Groupon, so I had no hotel choice. The first two hotels (Athens and Mykonos) were very adequate. This hotel (new haroula) was horrific. The room was dorm room/hostel style - the shower was like a cruise ship shower. The bathroom would flood with water. The doorknob to our room completely fell off. The receptionist charged us (bribed us) $30 euro to call us a taxi (yes we had to pay the taxi driver too) - she knew we were flustered because we needed to get to port on time to make our boat. SHE MADE US PAY HER (POCKETED THE MONEY) TO CALL US A TAXI I have never in all my travels (even in hostels in Africa) been this annoyed and disappointed. Avoid this one if you can.

I've travelled around Europe, Asia and US: this hotel is definitely the WORST I spent my time in. The price was similar to a real 4-star hotel (more than 100 euro per night, in a not-so-expensive country like Greece), but the quality was unbelievably low. - The 5 free wi-fi connections actually never worked. Not a single one of them. Phone seldom connects to the signal but when it does, it says there is a problem and internet is not available (see picture). When I asked for explanation, the lady told me that phones are destroying the couples nowadays: I should have "cuddled" my girlfriend instead of using internet. - The room was not the one we booked: they show nice pictures when you book rooms but then they give you a different one. - In our room, it was impossible to have a shower: it was basically smaller than a reasonable size for a normal person, without a rigid box around. It was impossible to use it without flooding the full bathroom. The additional drain on the bathroom floor helped a bit, but it was smelly. - Our room door had band aids on the frame, to reduce the gap with the door itself (see picture). Never seen such a thing. With all the money they (unfairly) get form customers, they can afford another light-wood door. - Air conditioning filter was not clean, WE BOTH GOT SICK. We had to use it cause at night it was too noisy outside, and we were forced to close the window. - Baggage storage was actually an unlocked room in the outside space of the hotel, with nobody guarding it. Totally unsafe. - Location was the ONLY good point of this hotel. I will never ever stay in this hotel again!

We like to give the benefit of doubt understanding people have very different expectations. We were supposed to spend 5 nights in this hotel, we left after the first!! The owner we assume was very short beginning at the check-in “no problem” and when we requested another room because our moldy bathroom shower overflowed the drain as well as the main floor drain proceeding to flow into the bedroom! We got another no problem, she gave us the key to a different room which was worse than the original. Service was bad We had to wipe the dirty shelves to place our clothes. 2 minute shower flooded We would NOT recommend staying here We switched hotels and had an amazing remaining vacation
