We stayed in the Astropolis suite. It was absolutely amazing in every way. Not to mention the view from our villa and how central it is in the capital. Santorini is a slice of heaven and if you do visit this island, be sure to stay at the Asteras Villas. You will not be disappointed. The staff are also lovely and super helpful.

I read lot of reviews for lotta places to select the best one in Santorini and I ended up choosing this place and it was a disappointment. We stayed in the Venus suite , I choose this room after reading good reviews and there were quite some issues Pros : 1) Staff are friendly and helpful (Thank you so much to the guys , apologies that I forgot the names) 2) Near by taxi stand and bus station , grocery etc. about 5-10 mins walk . Cons: 1) I read many people saying view is good , If you’re staying along the Fira caldera view line , every resort has the same view ! 2) Venus suite felt outdated , cob webs in the room, the bed frame was worn out , the shower head didn’t work properly , not properly maintained . 3) Many people also said breakfast was good as served to room, I think the biggest issue for me was the execution of it ! It was winter and cold, I like to take hot coffee in the morning , by the time they serve breakfast to the room the hot coffee becomes cold coffee ! Also we were missing few items every day. The food was also not hot by the time they serve it ! 4) It was quite windy when we stayed there and the place outside our suite was quite dirty and they didn’t even bother to clean it for 2 consecutive days ! Again it’s off season , so not sure if this would be the case in peak season 5) Hot tub was outside the room and not really private as there’s a bar next to the hotel . Again this is an issue with most of the Santorini hotels ! I’d choose a hotel which has indoor hot tub or a pool if you fancy privacy Overall I had too high expectations and the place couldn’t simply live up to it ! Kudos to the staff for being helpful , that’s the only positive thing I can think off

Just returned from a week staying in Asteras Villas and it was amazing! We stayed in the Galatea suite which is the smallest of the suites - more like a room but was perfectly comfortable for us. Andreas the manager was amazing and went out of his way to make the staff perfect as did the other gentlemen working there (didn't catch his name) who is constantly running up and down lots of steps, carrying everyone's luggage and bringing our breakfast to our balcony etc. We got given a bottle of champagne on arrival as we were staying for a whole week! Andreas advised us where was good to eat and gave us information on the town on Fira as well as advising when it was best to travel the rest of the island (it can get very busy when cruise ships are docked). He also arranged the most amazing Catamaran trip! The views are amazing and we got a great sunset view from our balcony. Our suite felt more private as it was the second to the bottom - you felt it when you were climbing to the top but we didn't mind as the privacy was nice. Breakfast was amazing - you could order whatever you wanted and it was delivered at a time you requested. Plus you could order champagne every morning! Out hot tub stopped working twice but both times it was fixed starlight away and then was back up and running quickly. The location is perfect, right in the mix of everyone but our room was very quiet and we were never disturbed by any noise. There is a cocktail bar next door - PK which is amazing for sun-downers, you need to reserve to get the really good seats but you could sit anywhere for an amazing view! If we came back to Santorini - we would definitely return to Asteras villas!

My wife and I just returned from Greece where we spent two nights at the Asteras Villas in the Phoebe Suite. Even before we arrived we received an email from Andreas to help arrange transportation from the ferry, which we were glad we utilized. The service at Asteras Villas was five star and as we arrived we were greeted by a gentleman with the hotel who carried our bags down the 115 steps to our suite. (Note, if you are staying in the Phoebe Suite it is a bit of a hike down and up the stairs to access the main strip. We didn't mind the walk as it allows that suite a little more privacy, but wanted to note for those who may have mobility issues.) Andreas, and the other gentleman in the office, gave us recommendations for meals and attractions, as well as even setting up a dinner reservation for us. The suite itself was well appointed, bed was comfortable and bathroom was decent sized (those complaining about the small bathrooms must not be familiar with Europe), and of course the view from the private patio was amazing. Breakfast from the patio was excellent and a great way to begin each morning. We also loved the hot tub, it was a great way to wind down the evenings after exploring the island. Overall it was an amazing stay and we would stay here again if we return to Santorini.
