If you go to Santorini, this is the place to stay! The views of the caldera are phenomenal! You can sit on you deck for breakfast or happy hour and watch the donkeys and tourists come and go from the old port. Fira is the place to stay, to get away from the crazy crowded mobs of tourists in Oia. All of the staff were great. Breakfasts were delicious. Fresh fruit and anything else you wanted. All looking out at the beautiful ocean. Tanya, from Ukraine was a delight. So attentive and happy to see to your every need. We hope to return soon!!!!! Rebecca and Christian, Indian Wells, CA

Hotel Keti is a very, very nice hotel and I think the 3 stars rating is not doing the hotel justice. As a Titanium member with the Marriott hotels in the U.S. I would rank this similar to a 4.5 Autograph collection equivalent: location, unique, cleanliness and hospitality is top-notch as only the owners themselves could show. Elli and her husband, Yanni and the breakfast staffs are the kindest of people. As an Elite member with Marriott and Hilton, I am not a stranger to kind and caring hospitality prior to my onsite arrival to the hotel. But with Hotel Keti, I appreciated Elli all the more because without the prior arrangement for transfer from the port to the hotel, we would have been utterly lost beyond believe!😊

Hotel Keti was a perfect stay for us while in Santorini. The sunset in Oia got nothing over our view from our balcony at Hotel Keti. We bought Santorini wines, foods for the evening and had a feast on the balcony while watching the sun going down slowly across the calderas.

So many pluses, and not even a tiny dot of minus. And on top of it all, the price is super reasonable compared to some of the other hotels with a caldera view. We are so in love with Hotel Keti, couldn’t you tell?

Thank you Elli! 💐

I love Keti Hotel - will certainly be back. I booked a suite and did not regret that. The room was spacious, clean, had gorgeous views. It was absolutely perfect.

The bed was massive and so comfortable. I did not wanted to leave that room.

The room has a shared patio with other 2 rooms + a private balcony with a magnificent sea view, caldera and the sunset. The room has a little window with sea view from the bed. The views from the room and hotel overall are magnificent.

The location is great, as it is in the center - although quite (which I loved). Very close to the bus station. I found the busses on Santorini to be punctual and very comfortable. The bus tables are up to date at the station and there is a bus to get you to all points of interest.

The staff was super friendly and the service level absolutely flawless.

Breakfast, again 10 out of 10 - individual servings upon wishes.

In these COVID times I needed to have a test done in order to go back, the staff called the local medical center and made an appointment for me. Thank you. Highly appreciated.

Yes it’s true the views are spectacular but that all goes to waste when your received so disgustingly by the staff at the keti hotel. Elli was unfriendly, cold & unwelcoming she did not crack a smile once. It was as if we were an inconvenience to the hotel and not paying customers when we arrived.
On top of the unpleasant welcome from Elli we were shown to the room and being our anniversary I wanted to treat us to a nice room and in the room description it states: pool with a view and in listings photos there is a private balcony with patio sliding doors and a plunge pool therefore in line with the photos of the room I booked this hotel for £891 for 5 nights. We were tired after a long day of travelling and politely expressed disappointment whilst Elli was showing us the room (3) upon entering I noticed there was no private pool or even a balcony and the room appeared outdated dissimilar to the photos and extremely hot inside. Elli instead of listening ran back to the reception ignoring us and our comments. I went back to reception (which was next door) as I wanted to find a resolution so went to find Elli to understand if we could change rooms for a price or what could be done. We expressed we were happy to pay in addition for a more satisfactory room or upgrade than what we were given but were shockingly faced again with Elli’s rude and negligent attitude to the fact anything was wrong. She was obtuse and implied we had already been given an upgrade from having 2 single beds to having a double bed but I had requested the option of a double bed at booking so to suggest this was an “upgrade” was ludicrous. Elli ordered us to remove our items from the hotel immediately as if we were criminals and told we “would certainly not be staying in the hotel.”
Bemused by the way we were being treated we still remained pleasant and calm and asked nicely if anything could be done or if we could speak to the hotels manager Elli unsurprisingly questioned us with why and was reluctant to letting us speak to anyone other than herself. She was dismissive and careless about the fact we were not happy and instead busy on her phone messaging. After a call with the manager Yiannis suggested to refund the room and put all of the blame onto us and said it was our fault and we must be blind if we could not read the description of the rooms properly. It was apparent even the manager was unwilling to help us in any way whatsoever and the conversation and language used by the manager was becoming insulting. We were told to find another hotel as they were not willing to help and that we were not entitled to a refund but as they want us “happy” they will refund us on this special occasion. We left with our suitcases in hand almost immediately anxious and frustrated 100 steps below the main street with no accommodation to go to or a clue of the local surroundings. It was a horrendous experience and you couldn’t pay me to stay at the hotel. However, I highly recommend the Athina Luxury Suites they’re without fault the most welcoming staff with beautiful panoramic views incredibly accommodating and less than 3 min walk from Keti and the same price!!

Stayed here in mid November as a couple and it was the last 3 days before the hotel closed for the season. It was a great time to travel in Santorini as the weather was sunny 20oC so perfect for walking around but not so good for beach swimming. There were a good number of people in Fira although many restaurants and accommodation complexes were closed (especially in Oia).

Very friendly reception staff helped to organise airport transfers prior to our arrival and gave a map/ suggestions of activities to do while we were in Fira on arrival.

The hotel itself is located as far down the cliff as possible which gives you unparalleled privacy and views directly to the caldera with no other buildings or hotels in your way. This does mean that there are around 70 steps to climb up to town from the hotel, however they are not very steep and the hotel staff assist carrying your luggage on arrival and departure.

We chose the cavehouse suite which I could not recommend highly enough. It provided a super comfy large bed with a window directly overlooking the caldera, the perfect start to every morning. There was also a small private balcony accessed directly from the room which was lovely for an afternoon drink or to sit and watch the cable car from. The bathroom was a very good size with a lovely rain shower and all modern fittings. They also provided ample shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Breakfast was provided each morning and served from a beautiful terrace overlooking the caldera. There were so many options to chose from including coffee, tea, fresh juice, fruit, eggs, toast, croissants, crepes etc. Everything was so delicious and set us up well for our activities of the day!

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would give it 6 stars if I could. Will definitely return here on my next trip to Santorini!

After 3 bookings cancelled due to COVID, we eventually were able to make our long awaited trip to stay in the Hotel Keti. Having originally booked about 3 years ago, our stay at the hotel was definitely well worth the wait and it exceeded our expectations.
From our initial booking and through the cancellations/rebookings, Elli was great and understanding. It was a pleasure dealing with Elli. Elli gave us a very warm and smiling welcome when we arrived and was always there for us through our 7 night stay to provide friendly information and guidance.
Also a massive thank you to Tsetso for his efforts to carry 4 cases down to the hotel on arrival and back up again for our departure. He also waited to ensure that our transfer vehicle arrived to take us to the airport. What a star.
The breakfasts were unbelievably good with a wide range of items that you pre-ordered. Every morning they were prepared and presented to us by Irini who was so helpful and friendly. Also thanks to her colleague who was cooking in the kitchen. Apologies that I didn't catch your name.
Overall the staff were brilliant and made us feel very at home. Thanks to you all.

As 2 couples we stayed in the Pillow Suite and Rock Suite with both these rooms having spectacular views and unbelievably sitting on the edge of the caldera. They are so private and not overlooked. The views from the rooms when you wake up are great, And same in the afternoon. And at sunset the views are just stunning. No need to visit and bars, cafes or restaurants for sunset when you can get some beers, wine and snacks from local supermarket then sit on your balcony and watch the spectacular show.
We don't typically return to places when on holidays but this hotel with its brilliant staff is on our list to make a return to in the near future.

We really enjoyed our 5 day stay in Keti, wish we could have booked more days. I was so skeptical on booking it as it says a 3 star hotel. But when we get there, this hotel is a top notch! It’s more than a 5-star hotel from the quality, location and the service. The hotel ticks all the boxes! You can’t beat the location. It is 5 minutes walk to the centre and overlooking the caldera and the centre, at the same time you are away from the crowd! Our room was overlooking the caldera and the Fira’s white washed buildings. The rooms are so modern and sparkling clean. The cooked breakfast was all the time fresh and tasteful. All the staff are very nice and accommodating. This hotel really exceeds our expectation. We will definitely be back here.

This hotel is a recommended stay in both Fodor’s and Frommer’s guidebooks. After our recent three night stay there, we can easily see why!

First off, the staff is phenomenal. Each one who served us was eager to do so, and couldn’t seem to do enough for us. The outstanding front desk personnel, the two marvelous women preparing and serving the breakfast, and the porter carrying our luggage up and down the numerous and steep steps of Santorini all performed their work with a smile and cheery spirit. This happiness is, of course, contagious and spread quickly to my wife and me, and stayed with us throughout our time at the hotel.

Then, there is the view. Spectacular. We spent a good bit of time just staring out our hotel window, from room #8, in disbelief at the caldera. It is more than we expected, and we soaked up the vistas at each opportunity we were at our room and on our private balcony.

Now, have I mentioned the breakfast yet? The day before breakfast, you are presented with a sheet of several menu items which you may select for the following day’s meal. No matter what you choose, prepare for it to be among the best of that item that you’ve ever had. From the crepes to the variety of eggs to the pastries to the yoghurt and coffees and fresh-made orange juice, the breakfast is out of this world!

Finally, the accommodations are quite comfortable. They are simple, clean, airy and light in color. We had everything we needed in a more than ample space.

In short, we can give Hotel Keti our highest recommendation for a splendid, and romantic, place to stay in Santorini. We hope to return, but in the meantime, are recommending it to our family and friends.

We spent considerable time choosing and reserving this hotel on January 24th, 2022 for the nights of September 20--25th. The reservation was confirmed on January 25th by Yiannis Diamantopoulous. Yesterday (9/2), we received an email telling us that our reservation has been cancelled. Upon calling and speaking to Elli Papastavru, we learned that their charge to our Costco Citibank credit card 3 weeks prior to our arrival date did not go through due to it being updated, as is done every 4 years.
Her attitude was "couldn't care less" about what this has done to our dream trip. When we called the hotel we'd reserved in Crete at the same time, we experienced a warm, caring "Don't worry about anything; we'd never cancel your reservation unless you called to do so". What a difference.
Hotel Keti has devastated us by this late, uncaring cancellation. They are fully reserved now. Undoubtedly, they have charged considerably more for our room at this late date. How unthinkable!

My daughter and I stayed here in May and absolutely loved this place! The view was just amazing. Between the breakfast staff greetings of "Kalimera" when we arrived each morning and the AMAZING Santorini tomato eggs, we looked forward to breakfast each morning! I have replicated those eggs at home but of course, just not the same!! Very clean and so friendly and helpful. I would return and definitely recommend.
