The Aressana Spa Hotel and Suites earns rave reviews for its stylish atmosphere and welcoming environment, with guests often praising the beautifully furnished rooms and comfortable beds. The staff's exceptional service is frequently highlighted, as they're noted for their friendliness and attentiveness. We arrived on 21st of October 25 degrees, and were welcomed by the lovely Joanna with homemade lemonade and cold towels , after a brief chat were taken to our room 71, very spacious all the mod con safe, iron, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities etc.The icing on the cake was the private pool outside your balcony which we did use but was chilly.Breakfast was lovely a great choice of cooked breakfast ,cereals, fruit, juices and gluten free products also. The main swimming pool was never that busy with comfortable loungers a lovely little bar with attentive staff and great selection of drinks.I cannot speak more highly of this hotel,my partner and 2 kids 10 and 16 had a fantastic holiday largely down to the staff and this hotel, I would come back in a heartbeat thanks shaun and family.A COUPLE OF TIPS. 5 Minutes walk from the main noisy cafes, the start point for the Fira to Oia hike, and right next door to the archeological museum from Akrotiri

Hotel's Favorite
This was our 4th stay at Aressana! Our last visit was in 2018 and since then they have really worked hard to keep this beautiful hotel to its very high standard. Service is excellent from all the staff. They work hard to keep this big hotel spotless and are always ready to serve with a pleasant smile. As always our first contact was by email to Jacqueline, who is responsible for reservations. It's a pleasure to communicate with her. She responds quickly and strives to please, even with special requests. She has the amazing ability of remembering past guests and offers everyone the best service. Anna is the excellent manager who finds the time in her busy schedule to talk to guests and helps whenever she can. The rest of the staff is just as accommodating. One afternoon Nikos, the chef, made us an excellent, special anniversary dinner that we enjoyed outdoors, facing the beautiful pool! The Aressana breakfast every morning was excellent as always, with a huge variety of excellent foods. We loved our stay at Aressana and we will definitely come back soon for another excellent stay! Our thanks to everyone.

Upon arriving we were greeted by the host of the hotel with fresh lemonade and cold towels for our face/neck. She gave us all the information about the hotel and what to expect. Very professional. Our room was very spacious and had all the amenities we could ever need. Restaurant food was fabulous. Hotel is right by lots of shopping and public bus to take to Santorini.

We have been staying at this resort since 2007. Since then we've been back another 7 times. It is the best place we have stayed in our many travels across Greece. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are excellent, the rooms are great and the staff are beyond excellent. Its a family run resort and its always great to catch up with Maria and Palamas (and Marias mum) who we now count as family. They are such beautiful and warm people. Its a short walk to the Caldera for some magnificent views and the bus stop is just down the road which gives you access to the rest of the island. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for and it is more than worth it. Even if you can only afford to go once we would recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Fira and wanting to experience a bit of luxury. As I always say be warned though once you visit you may get hooked and want to go back as we have, 8 times now. We couldn't and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Fira.

My husband and I ended our trip to Greece on a happy note at the Aressana Spa Hotel on Santorini. It's a lovely property, but what makes it truly special are the people. Regardless of whether it was staff at the breakfast (yum!), the spa (reasonably priced), or the front desk (helpful to the max), it was the people who made our stay in Santorini so special.

Well placed at the end of the cliff top promenade. Comfortable beds, adequate but not overlarge room, perfectly good breakfast and a nice swimming pool with sufficient sun beds when I was there. Slightly annoying were all the flies around the sun beds. Used the spa which was excellent and the front desk were very good. As with many places there were loads of steps within the hotel.

Overall disappointed with this hotel for the price paid We arrived late at night after having to drag all our luggage up a steep cobbled street as the transfer minibus is apparently not allowed up the street. We were given some lemonade and a cold facecloth and were shown to our room. The room was beautifully clean with a safe, ironing facilities and coffee machine and kettle. However, it was extremely small and bathroom absolutely minute containing a shower only - no bath. You could barely turn around in the bathroom! We tried to unpack but there was only a small curtained space for hanging with a few coat hangers. There were no drawers or shelves to put clothes in so we had to basically live out of our suitcases for a week. If you intend to stay here you need to bring as little as possible with you Housekeeping was good and fresh water was left daily at no extra charge. All the staff at the hotel were pleasant and courteous but didn’t particularly want to go out of their way to make sure you were happy We stayed half board but wished we hadn’t. Breakfast was buffet style but particularly disappointing . The cooked choices were lukewarm and unappetising. The only prepared fruit was melon which was the same everyday. There were cold meats and cheese but the breads were not very nice. Some days there were croissants but when I asked for one on a day they were not put out I was told I couldn’t have one! We saw some other guests who had been out and bought some at the local supermarket and were eating them in the dining room! Evening meal was a la carte only- no option of a buffet choice. The restaurant itself is nice with a good ambiance and the staff attentive. However, you are presented with the same limited menu every night which became very boring after 2-3 nights. Some of the items on the menu had supplements. The pool area is very compact though there is a pool bar and option of lunch menu. Towels were provided free, but the sun loungers and beds were all made of fabric and were generally unappealing as they were all stained. Positionally the hotel is in a very good position if you want access to the Caldera and the shops and restaurants. However, bear in mind there are usually 3 cruise ships docking every day so it is unbelievably crowded and also quite expensive. In conclusion I would say the hotel is a good place to stay for a couple of nights but not for a week as we did

Perfect from check in to check out. The staff was extremely welcoming and always ready with a recommendation for anything from coffee to the best traditional Greek food. I also visited the spa during my stay and it truly was a fantastic experience. The relaxation room followed by a massage and facial was exactly what I needed. It was 2 hours of pure bliss. 🤪 The pool area and bar was also a welcome break from the beautiful beaches. If you’re visiting Santorini, this place is in the center of it all and convenient to all areas - especially with the bus station about 2 blocks away.

This hotel was truly an oasis in all aspects. It is located in the heart of Fira which was very convenient, its rooms and accommodations were clean and beautiful, the breakfast and lunch was delicious and we had everything on their menus! Their driver/guide Dimitris was the cherry on top! He is a young man who is funny, informative and had THE BEST restaurant and site seeing recommendations. Everyone made us feel welcome. We loved our stay in Stantorini at Aressana!
