I cannot believe how badly the staff treated us after we paid so much to stay in this overrated hotel. I stayed here with my wife for 3 nights. I paid almost 350€ per night (in Hyatt points). 1. We arrived at Santorini via Ferry. I assumed that the hotel would have some parking facility (paid or unpaid) for guests if I am paying 350€ per night. So I rented a car at the Port. Big mistake. I used Google Maps to reach the hotel, but Google Maps took me to the back side of the hotel, and there is no entry from there. The roads were super narrow, and I was stuck with my car, nowhere to park so that I can walk to the front of the hotel. It was super hot outside; it felt like 100 degrees fahrenheit. I asked my wife to wait in the car and ran up the hill to the hotel front desk asking for help. But front desk had no empathy for my situation. She gave me driving directions to front of hotel. I told her that with narrow one way streets full of traffic, I may get lost again. She saw me breathless and sweating profusely. I requested that she ask one of her staff members to come with me just for 5 minutes to show me the right way to the front of the hotel, but she refused. Somehow, I managed to find the front of the hotel myself. The front of the hotel is super congested and there is no space to park the car even for a few minutes. It is surprising that this hotel has not realized that Google Maps has the wrong directions to their hotel. The hotel should get the map directions corrected by contacting Google. 2. Our check in was plain vanilla. Their behaviour was not welcoming at all. They didn't acknowledge my Hyatt Status. They just offered us a glass of water, then walked us to our room. I would have expected more welcoming behaviour from a motel. 3. The room was good, but in no way worth 350 euros. The premises are decent. The breakfast was included and it was very good, but the staff in the breakfast room were like robots with minimal interaction. 4. Next day I asked them not to service our room as we had our stuff spread out, and we told them we will call for new towels when needed. We went for a tour the entire day, and came back exhausted at 11 pm. Before walking to the room, I stopped at the front desk and asked him to send 2 towels to my room and he said that he will send it right away. But the towels never came. I was waiting for more than 30 minutes, and couldn't wait anymore and took shower with used towels. After about 35 minutes, the guy at the front desk calls me and asks me if I still needed towels. I was shocked. What do you mean if I still needed towels? You never sent me towels, so of course I still need them. And then the towels arrived at last, but not before I had already taken a shower. 5. The next day, in the morning, while I was walking in the lobby area, the guy at the front desk called me. Out of the blue, he said that you still have one more night of stay, and we would like to upgrade you. I was surprised that at last they have some courtesy, not realizing that the situation is going to get from bad to worse. We packed our luggage and left for a tour. We came back late at night (11 pm) and we were handed keys for our new room. The new room was supposed to be an upgrade, but to our surprise was much smaller than the original room. The hotel mentions the size of both the rooms as 17 sq metres, but the so called upgraded room was much smaller. The only addition was an attached balcony to the room. How is this room an upgrade? My wife and I were incredibly upset at this point. But we were so exhausted after long day that we just wanted to sleep. We put on the air conditioner at the lowest temperature to cool down and went to sleep. But the room would not cool down even after AC had been running for 2 hours. The room was hot and we couldn't sleep. So I called the front desk at 1 am complaining about the room not cooling down. A staff member visited our room and said that the AC is running and he cannot do anything about room not cooling down and just walked away. I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT WAS HAPPENING. 6. Next day at the time of our check out, I mentioned to the lady at front desk about the AC not cooling the room down and she was nonchalant. She just didn't care about my complaint. We asked the same lady if we can leave 2 pieces of luggage for 24 hours as we were staying in different hotel in different area of island for one night. At first she hesitated. Then she grudgingly agreed to let us leave 2 pieces of luggage for just 24 hours. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE WAY WE WERE BEING TREATED AFTER SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY AT THIS HOTEL. 7. Next day my wife goes to the front desk to collect our luggage, and front desk rudely asked my wife to walk herself to the storage room and grab the luggage herself. I seriously don't understand how this hotel has gotten any positive reviews. I wonder if we were treated different because of color of skin, I don't know? I am surprised Hyatt has associated their name with a hotel like this. I am definitely writing my experience to Hyatt too. Even in the expensive Santorini island there are lots of hotels/resorts where you can find much better rooms and experience for less money. I will recommend that anyone who is thinking of staying in this hotel look for other options. Manoj

We just got back from our trip to Santorini , We booked this hotel in the last minute and what a Great experience . The place was in the middle of the tourist area so it was perfect if you like to walk to the tourist area and the rooms was clean and great views! The customer service was top notch, the concierge was very effective to have the information for us. Everyone was helpful and took care of us. We will be back again when the time comes. We just returned from a three night stay at Aressana Spa & Hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff, Elena and Yanis, were incredible and looking for ways to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We were tired from our travel day (thank goodness Michael was there to transport us from ferry to hotel), so ate at the hotel the first night...amazing cuisine and delicious! Elena helped us arrange an island tour, and Michael was an excellent driver and tour guide. We also spent some time in the spa, with relaxing massages and facials. The rooms were immaculate and welcoming, the morning breakfast was fantastic and the pool and poolside service were wonderful! I highly recommend this hotel. It's close to everything, yet feels as though you've escaped to a private, exclusive luxury resort!

We chose the hotel because it was easily accessible by car and we have 2 small children, and we arrived by ferry from Crete after midnight. But what a beautiful choice of hotel! The hotel is just few steps away from the Caldera views and is in the center, with all restaurants and shops near. Absolutely beautiful hotel, very well maintained, also good for families with smaller children safety wise. We also used the pool and the food by the pool was wonderful! Breakfast also very nice. We just wish we stayed longer, but we will be back.
