Detailed Reviews
For the location it was excellent budget accommodation with one of the worlds best views. We had a basic room (large tv, minifridge, kettle, hairdryer, etc.) small veranda overlooking a very nice pool AND THE CALDERA. It is kept scrupulously clean (maid every morning). Receptionist (Jane) and handyman (Alexsi) extremely helpful and eager to please. Lots of larger more expensive neighbours that have rooms with private plunge pools and a few with bars and restaurants that will make your bank manager cry, But central Fera is only a 25 min easy walk or 5mins (8Euro) by taxi, there is a bus stop almost outside with Fera (8mins), Pyrgos (5mins) (so good quality reasonably priced dining is not far away) and direct buses to Kamari, Perisia, Akrotiri, etc. All fares either 1.6E or 2E. For us - it was perfect

We had a brilliant stay here. STUNNING VIEWS. Room was great. We had our room cleaned everyday and towels changed. Staff were all very polite. We highly recommend this villa and will definitely be returning here again in a future trip to Santorini!

Very nice quiet complex in great location to Caldera the perfect place for visitors who want to relax in a friendly and quiet environment. Santorini Airport is 5 km away from the complex, while the port is at 6 km. The hotel is very inviting and makes from the outside a very good impression. The lobby is very beautifully built and well designed.
The location of the hotel is terrific! The room that we booked was very clean and from the furnished balcony we had a direct outstanding view overlooking the volcanic islands and the world famous sunsets. The room was further equipped with A/C, a kitchen or kitchenette, TV and hairdryer.
The swimming pool was very clean with free sun beds and umbrellas. You can enjoy your coffee, drink or having a snack from the poolside bar relaxing on the sun loungers in a shaded seating area with panoramic views.
From the front desk to the bartender at the pool are all exceptionally friendly. We were fully satisfied with all services!!!
I LOVE GREEK ISLANDS!

My husband didn't check the negative reviews and booked this for the availability. We usually stay in 4 and 5 star properties. We were met my Manolis who runs the adjacent hotel, he was wonderful. The owner Eugenia is another story.
It was our wedding anniversary, and he led us to a dark room #107, that had 2 single beds, it was an ugly room with a very old bathroom. Eugenia the owner was going to move us to another room, but when I saw a loft room available, I said we would take it. She didn't say that the room that she offered was newly renovated,
Anyway, the shower overflowed and I noticed the showerhead looked moldy. She had her husband fix the shower so it wouldn't overflow, but the shower had debris in it and the room wasn't cleaned. My hair which sheds was all over the place, the sink wasn't wiped, etc. Manolis had to come and sweep and mop and clean the shower. Even when the room is clean, it's not up to standard since there is one cleaner for the property, and she's inexperienced.
When I went to complain to Eugenia, she said "If I were a man, I wouldn't marry you." She also asked how clean my house is and mocked me for complaining that I wanted a clean room. She also shook her finger at me that I should have taken #103 when she offered it. She made personal attacks that were uncalled for. How low is that?
The toilet looks like it's never cleaned properly, and I question if she changed the sheets since. The loft floor wasn't swept or cleaned since our feet would be dirty.
On our last night the extra roll of toilet paper was removed and the two bars of soap in the shower were gone. The utensils in the room are unwashed and whatever is in the tray look old and stale. Eugenia leaves early so whenever we needed something we had to ask Manolis or his mom Margarita who share the office.
Please be mindful and read the reviews on Booking.com. The owner responds the nasty way she spoke to me and doesn't care how she treats her guests who aren't happy. This woman shouldn't be in the hospitality business and has low standards of cleanliness. Unfortunately this this was all that was available on those dates in that area.

My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary after getting married in santorini last year. This is the WORST place we have ever stayed... the rooms weren't cleaned properly, we used the same 2 dirty glasses for a week and they refused to give us clean ones. There was bags of rubbish left on our balcony, there was no coffee or tea in our room, no breakfast provided so we had to walk up the road every morning for a coffee. No hotel bar or music or anything around the pool area. They also wouldn't let us borrow an iron or help us with our luggage. The staff were rude and lazy! The morning we left one of the members of staff (an elderly lady- i assume the owner) was shouting at myself and my husband in front of all of her other hotel guests because we refused to pay £24 euros for some flowers the hotel had provided of their own accord. She turned to me and said 'and you are married to him?' I found it extremely personal and unprofessional and was shocked by the way she treated us as customers. We have been fortunate enough to stay at many places around the world and NEVER have we stayed somewhere so poor. Would NOT recommend!!!

+1
This is a beautiful little family run hotel on the main road heading into Fira Town. They picked us up from the ferry and dropped us back when our booking was over.
The rooms are massive and quiet, and in typical Greek style - if you're looking for a luxury hotel this isn't it - but the rooms are comfortable and each room comes with a view over the Caldera. We got some of the best sunset photos from the poolside.
Breakfast is included - toast, yoghurt, coffee, tea, boiled eggs, honey - all of which were local and pretty damn tasty. Unfortunately they do not have services for lunch or dinner, and they no longer operate the pool bar - but there is taverna up the road and a mini mart across the road for supplies if you need them. We just nipped across the road and grabbed a few bottles of wine to relax by the pool - worked out a lot cheaper then the neighbouring hotels charging for cocktails!
Wifi is easily accessible everywhere in the building, and they are also happy to book you onto Caldera tours or organise quad bike hire too. We booked our room in advance - if you can I suggest you do this, room prices doubled by the time we checked in.
We had a fantastic time here - comfortable and affordable - which gave us plenty more money to enjoy the surrounding parts of Santorini. Thanks!

I can't believe what happened, we booked for 5 nights and upon arrival we were told we would have to move after 1 night since they were double booked. The woman manager at the desk was very rude and not very pleasant. The hotel has an excellent view but that is all. The rooms are old and dirty and the woman at the front desk could care less about helping us. We noticed hotels on each side of them that we're much better and cleaner, we should have booked there. This hotel is in an excellent upscale area but unlike the other hotels will not pick you up from the port or bring you back when leaving. The rude woman at the front desk would not offer any information on where to go or what to do. She could care less. On checking out, she insisted on cash no credit cards even though they were listed as accepting them on your web site. This is a must to avoid, they ruined our vacation.

I stayed 19 days in Fall season ( october ) 2013...it is a family apart-hotel with a spectacular views
on The Caldera-Volcano- new port and the arrivals of Cruiseships...the ferry-boat round trip are
also a visual activities which come from the Aegean sea....The Hotel is well perched on the clif to have 180 degree of the sea.. The pool is on a panoramic terrace and it is big value addition...on each side,2 expensive ( $$$$$$$ ) hotels have the same view..Why pay more...???. the crew family is fantastic ...the 2 brothers-owners Spiros and Dimitri ( = a nickname ) with Margarita + her daughter Johanna are very near of the guests and serve them quickly...These two women have a contagious smile and an easy answer to all question...Caldera Butterfly is a quiet place to enjoy the life and have a true relax holiday.
Quality/price is famous......i give 10/10 to this hotel....

Santorini is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and this hotel is fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I can't think of anything to complain about. The rooms were clean, the pool was great and as for the view...... awesome. We will go back here...brilliant

I booked this villa in January for June as it was our 30th wedding anniversary. They were all ready for us when we arrived. These villas seemed perfect for a quiet location with great views. We were not dissapointed. The staff made sure we had a lovely secluded villa. The view was magnificent. Pool great and facilites excellent. It is not a luxury villa but it is authentic Santorini! It is a 20 minute walk into town but there is a supermarket 100 metres down the road, local bus stop and we hired a quad bike to get around.
There is a kitchenette to make your own breakfast. With only 16 villas it is small and we felt all our needs were catered for. If we are ever fortunate to go back to Greece and Santorini we will return here!

As in North American outlets?
No. This is Europe & will need a converter if your device can not convert & an adapter for the plug.
Its very easy to get around Santorini. Fira is pretty small. Park away from the crowds & walk into the hoards of people. Many streets are one way.
You can rent online or when you get there, we didnt have a problem renting while we were there.
Lots of the island to explore & so much more to Santorini than just Fira & Oia.
Have fun.
